Roosevelt Island — Local services in New York

Fun ride in the gonzola to cross the river. I'd recommend starting at Roosevelt Island as it's typically less busy on this side so more chance of a position where you get to enjoy the view instead of standing in the middle. Fantastic Cable Car ride in New York This is one of my favourite activities in new York, using the cable car. You get great views and also can take the ferry from here to South Manhattan. It also feels a bit like a hidden secret as most tourist do not use (know?) about it. Anyhow we ALWAYS do it and always are very happy we did. Its actually fun riding on this Roosevelt Island Tramway and looking at most of the Manhattan Skyline and East River. Its like if I would be inside of a Helicopter with plenty of space and people except that it doesnt speed much like a helicopter does. Way better than the slow and delaying Public Bus.
