Ella Spice did a phenomenal job catering our mom’s 70th birthday!! We found Ella Spice Catering by doing a google search for local caterers. The reviews were great and they provided menu options that would be crowd pleasers for our mom’s 70th birthday. Our family and friends are mostly Caribbean so we knew Ella Spice would be exactly what we wanted. Akera was very responsive and was able to provide us with everything we wanted. We asked for 2 servers to make things easier for us who also helped passed appetizers which allowed people to chat and mingle without have to walk back and forth. Everyone loved the food and had only positive things to say. The food was delicious and everyone felt full and satisfied. We had a lot of menu options to serve 75 people; a number of main/entree options, appetizers, and a delightful fruit salad. The pepper steak, mac and cheese, and shrimp were my favorites! People also raved about the chicken, salmon, and chow mein. Everything was delicious! People were so pleased with their meals they even wanted to take boxes of food to go home with. Akera and the other two young ladies she provided as servers were so accommodating and helpful. They kept us updated on food to make sure nothing was wasted and they even helped us cut and serve the cake which was greatly appreciated. The price was very affordable for all of the options we had including having servers.
