What a disappointment. The two stars are for the waiting room and office design, the service gets a z e r o. I have several years experience with Botox, but came here to experience less wait times and to not be upsold. The pricing format online seemed straightforward, but it was anything but when I sat down in the chair. I wanted two areas, upper forehead and crows feet. This led to an entire discussion about how I needed the lower forehead as well, or else I was “DEFINITELY going to have caveman syndrome”. That doing just the upper had led “ALL the clients to HAVE to come back for additional injections in the lower”. Now, between the two nurses who discussed this with me (the first one needed backup to convey her gloom and doom scenario to me) they have only 8 years experience injecting between them, so I am unsure if this an experience issue or a pricing issue. If you are forcing clients to pay by “area” but use less than the 20 units max for any specific area, the price becomes much more beneficial for the company, not the client who shelled out the money for 20 units. For those new to Botox this place might be just what you need. But those of us with injection experience know that you can split 40 units across upper and lower (especially if you are using another more long-lasting filler in addition to Botox) and NOT have to spend another 200+ dollars for an additional “area” when you may not even need 20 units in said area. Or, they just aren’t injecting properly, forcing the return for fixes. The entire convo left me feeling nervous about either one touching my face with a needle. If someone tells you something bad is “definitely going to happen” (even though I have never ever had something so horrific happen to me with injections) you should believe them. So I left. Stick with individualized Botox (wait times and upselling included!) - it’s definitely better than some cookie cutter boutique staffed by women barely out of school....
Read moreI booked an 1hr appointment, 15 minutes consultation for my skin and 45 minutes of treatment. I arrived 12 minutes or less late due to finding parking and even notified the office about my situation. When I arrive to the office there’s 4 people behind the desk and two customers being serviced, I had to ring the bell at least 5 times before anyone buzzed me in. I was welcomed with disgust, I thought maybe I smelled by the way they spoke to me and their body language towards me. I give the lady my name and she immediately says “we may have to reschedule you due to time”. This is not even 15 minutes into my appointment but I deal with patients and time so I didn’t make it into a problem I replied “okay I understand”. The lady behind states “We just don’t have enough rooms, if we did we could”. So did they overbook? My appointment was for an hour and there’s no room? Still I didn’t make it a problem and asked the ladies if I could at least do my consultation. After verifying that I booked a consultation the lady responds “So what, you just want to talk to someone about the procedure?” with the nastiest of attitudes. I replied I guess not and just agreed to reschedule everything. As I was rescheduling another lady offers a different guest some water and the lady I was working with proceeds to say “do you want a water, it looks like you need one”. I replied no thank you and finished up with rescheduling my appointment. The lady who was suppose to be doing my treatment walks out at the same time and leaves the office. As I’m walking back to my car processing the situation I realized that it was probably best this happened. Skin is an insecurity for some and people need to feel safe and heard by the people treating them. I hope no one has the same experience as I did and I hope this is a not how everyone is treated. I truly felt like they did not want me there and that’s why I will not...
Read moreFirst review ever in my life so go easy. Ever/Body has changed my perspective on self-care. My goal has always been simply clean, moisturized, ready-to-go from day-to-night and every timezone in between (i'm on planes, boats, air balloons, and trains alot).
Every single person on the Ever/Body team - from the front desk to the laser rooms - has graciously [routinely] educated me on the key factors for achieving healthy, balanced, skin, tone, and glow - with or without their products and offerings. Never pushy, never pressure, just good vibes and results. The real deal.
Not only did they perfectly carve a spot in the medical care market that empowers so many to live their best versions, but their teams' hands and techniques are uniquely unmatched. My experience on a vigorous cycle of Detox Hydrafacials (add the Eye + Lip perk and thank me later) and Clear and Brilliant (do the neck) - unreal skin, zero downtime. The effects are genuinely cumulative and worth the investment for low maintenance people who just want to look fresh at all times - especially if genetics are not in your favor js!
But the procedures are only as impactful as who performs them, and what a performance does this team deliver. Time after time. Mercedes is the OG - unreal. I've also had the most indescribable experiences with the supremely talented (and brilliant) Elena W in Flatiron/17th Street; more than a facial - her service is nourishing of the mind, body, and soul. Her hands are nimbly devoted to every pore, carving regeneration into each and...renewing them?? She will give you balanced, calm, glass-like skin. Gets better as the days pass by.
The vibes are easy and...
