As a CD collector just starting my collection this place has some great stuff! It was told to me that the entire store is used vinyls/CDs. (I only bought CDs) and the selection I found was really great! Prices for the genre of music I liked (Latin and Jazz) were also really great, averaging $1.99-5.99 per disc and you can even find some CDs for $.99 outside.
There's a pretty good jazz selection and good enough sized Latin section, wish there was more but I still managed to find some good stuff. Classical enthusiasts will love it here as their classical CDs collection is huge!
I will say there are different prices per genre, the more popular stuff like Beatles will run a bit more as I came with a friend who was into that era of classic pop and rock music and they seemed to have a harder time finding good discs at a good price (around $8-14) but that might be due to the higher demand of some popular albums.
TLDR; Great used CDs library with nice prices, however the price may vary depending on the genre/album due to popularity...

I was traveling so had to skip the vinyl inventory, but there were many people in going through them so I have to assume the same quality mix exists there as well. However, this shop caters more to the serious collector and not the bargain hunter. They know what they have & charge full price. I wish they'd save a small corner for Laserdiscs as NYC is known as a "Laserdisc Desert" & with the LS collector market heating up they could corner the premium title market with very little space taken up. Give them a visit & ask if they have any. Who knows? They might...
ย ย ย Read moreLots of albums and movies at bargain prices. The majority of the stuff they sell is used, but they do sell new items at lesser prices than they sell at major retailers (a Criterion Blu-Ray that sells for about $30-35 at a place like Barnes and Noble will sell about $10-15 less here). The only problem I have with the place is that it's just as cramped and tiny as many places in NYC, especially since it's only one floor and just a couple of rooms to walk through. It's a nightmare when there's a lot of people around. So if you're looking for movies or albums at bargain prices and in multiple formats (CDs, DVDs, Blus, Vinyl and Cassettes), this is the...
