Let me just say that before the bill came to the table, the review would have been 3 or 4 star overall. So please allow me explain what happened. We ordered a bottle of Ichigo Frasco (180$ a bottle), the bartender came over and apologized saying that they only had a half of bottle of it, so he could give us the half bottle and give us half a bottle of the cheaper Ichigo Kurobin (120$ a bottle). Which wasn’t a big deal, we told him it’s all good just give us the half bottles. So half a bottle of a 180$ bottle and half a bottle of a 120$ bottle, what should the bill come out to for those drinks? 150$ would be expected right? Half of 180 is 90 half of 120 is 60, 90+60=150. So then how much did they try to charge? That’s right 325$. Now how would that be possible? If we only got half a bottle of each and both bottles are less than 200$ on the menu. That’s right they charged us for 5 glasses for each of the half bottles, which means we are paying 200$ for the first half bottle and 125$ for the 2nd half bottle which is more than a fresh bottle of each. We explained this to our server, and he went to get his manager. The manager came out and told us she gave us a 65$ discount and tried to explain that because it’s per glass, we would be paying for more than a bottle. Which make sense if that was what we ordered. We ordered a full bottle of the 180$ shochu and was offered the solution of half bottles because they didn’t have it, and now we have to pay more because of it? How does that make any sense? Your bartender was the one to offer it to us, had we known that we had to pay extra despite getting less we would have never accepted it. The manager continued to justify the pricing and said we got 75% of the first bottle and the bartender had miscounted, but that is all irrelevant as we were shown the half a bottle before our meal, and even if it was 75% of the bottle why would the guests be punished because you didn’t have the proper liquor inventory?!? She ended up discounting another 40$ netting to a total discount of 105, resulting my party paying 220$ for 150$ worth of liquor according to their menu. It was late and my birthday so we didn’t fuss anymore, we paid the over priced bill and left, sadly for the server we discounted the amount from his tip. This was the first time a restaurant actually scammed me, and the first time I ever left less than 18% tip.(I know it wasn’t the servers fault but this was...
Read moreCame here before, but comparing to today, I can feel everything have been worse than before. Not to the point that I hate it, but kind of regret coming. We have two A5 Wagyu Toro Sushi, one came up cooked and the other one is raw.....like? Hello? Also, the meat does not look fresh. Are you giving me something that was a leftover from others?
The service is emmmmmmm, I didn't order the treasure box or any thing that is in red that the servers will grill it for me. But.... It is so hard to get their attention until they giving us the check. Water was not refilled when it's empty, there were multiple servers there but when I want to get their attention for anything that I need with my dinner, they all tried to pretend they didn't see me. Only one tall guy server seem to be happy working there, and the others attitude were like I owe them so much money. Usually with services like this, I'm going tip less than 10% because I'm here to enjoy my food and I'm not here for your attitude. However I still tip above what the suggested amount. My friends was not happy about the service, and I tried to explain that let's separate the food and the service, and enjoy the food. However, the food was so disappointing when we tried it and I regret taking my friends here. I was telling them how amazing this place is and how much I love it. The meat was not good, sooooo different from before.

Thank you for your response. However, I do not understand your point that next visit will be better. Why are you guys waiting until customer complaints, and then say that you will change instead of maintaining the same level throughout? Levels have dropped so much in just a few months, I really don't know what's going on. Does every customer have to tell you that that he/she will write a google review, so that you can give the best service and meat quality? Very disappointed. I would never expect that these types of unprofessional behavior to happened at...
Read moreWent here for my birthday last week and wanted something a little fancy but also with fire, smoke, and grilled meat — so Japanese BBQ felt like the perfect fit. This place totally delivered on the upscale vibes while still giving you the full BBQ experience. Pricey? Yes. Worth it for a special night? Also yes.
We showed up around 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and the place wasn’t crowded at all. Lots of tables open, which was surprising honestly, but great for us. The staff was super nice — very smiley, very helpful — and they cook everything for you which adds to the relaxed feel.
We got one of their recommended sets for two, which included 3 or 4 different types of meat (one of them was wagyu!), and yes — the meat quality was chef’s kiss. Like, straight-from-the-fridge presentation with the marble still glistening. Super fresh, super buttery. They offered higher-end cuts too (like that ultra-marble wagyu), but we didn’t go all-in on that. Maybe next time.
On top of the meat set, we also ordered: • 🍄 Mushrooms with cheese – SO good. Highly recommend. • 🌶 Spicy Korean soup – Again, amazing. A great spicy-soupy balance and perfect on the side. • 🍸 Cocktails – I had the lychee mojito and it was refreshing, not too sweet. Would definitely get it again.
Final bill for 2 people: ~$350+ for one main meat set, two small dishes, and 2 cocktails each. Not cheap by any means — this is definitely a special occasion spot, not your casual weeknight dinner. But the quality, service, and presentation all felt top-tier. And honestly, I left feeling full and happy, which is all you can ask for on your birthday, right?
Would I go again? Yes, but probably for another celebration or if I’m trying to impress someone who...
