Ezra Medical Center - 13th Avenue — Local services in New York

If you are like me and you want a dentist or hygienist who will really listen to you, accommodate your needs, and care about you as an individual, go literally anywhere else. I have some basic dentistry needs that prior dentists have always happily accommodated, which the staff at Ezra attempted to coerce me, over and over and over, to ignore -- because accommodating those needs was going to take slightly longer and they didn't want to spend the time. (This was told to me verbatim.)

Ezra Medical on 13th Ave just wants to process patients, get paid, and get you out the door as efficiently as humanly possible, even at risk to your health. eg, I was pushed to do X-rays before I'd completed my medical history because "they were running behind and needed to save time." But don't you want my medical history to know if it's safe to give me X-rays?

If you have absolutely zero special needs for your dentistry and just want a clean facility for cookie-cutter cleanings and exams, Ezra will be fine. But don't expect anyone to care much beyond that, and if you do have a need, expect to...
