Fancy Nails Salon II — Local services in New York

Terrible place with horrible service. Bad gel polishing and bad attitudes from employees and they charge extras for absolutely everything. Do yourself a favor and do not go! I got a gel mani and pedi and the same day the mani gel color started chipping so I went back the next day to get fixed and the nail tech said she did not remembered me and told me I had the wrong nail salon (lol) so another nail tech decided to fix it and started using a different color even though I kep telling her that the color was not the same but she did not charge me to fix it. Long story short, color started chipping again and I ended up going to another salon to fix both mani a pedi and had to pay almost $70 dollars but at least they did a good job. To make things worst the girl that did my nails kept talking about me to the other nail tech in their language and both kept staring at me the entire time making me uncomfortable. I have to update my review. I have been attending this establishment for a long time and each time I go I hope that my nails will look nice straight and even but it's always a disaster and when looking at the work being done I am always annoyed the next day. The nail tech is always on her phone or someone is calling or interrupting or she is having a conversation while I am sitting praying she will hurry up with the conversation because she is so rough when it comes to buffing my nails I am flinching in the seat. I should not have too go home in pain from an experience that is supposed to be relaxing and calming. This establishment is filthy and needs to be deeply clean I would not recommend getting a pedicure here. As a loyal customer I have decided that I will no longer be coming back here to Fancy Nails! Since the pandemic every place has been booked. I recently moved out the city and I desperately needed my nails done for my birthday coming. I wish I would of went to the guy I originally had an appointment with at this nail salon. The women I went to was very nasty and rough with my hands. These Koreans that work in these nail salons need to learn how to treat minorities who are the majority spending their hard earned money respectfully since the shop is across the street from the projects, their attitudes don’t match where their located I’m just saying.The only reason why I went there because my guy in the Bronx was booked.
