I wish I had read the reviews before I went there to buy hair.
I've gone in there for little things like make up and nail supplies before and it wasn't a big deal. But this is the 1st time I decided to buy hair from them.
I walked around the entire store for a good 45 minutes and no one offered me any help or advice. As I walked around, I tried to pull up reviews of different brands on my cell phone, but couldn't really get service, so I just did my best to find something that resembled what I bought from another shop.
I finally found the hair I thought I might want to buy, and I went up to the cashier. I still wasn't 100% sure about it, so I asked her which would be better between the 2 types of hair. She suggested one that was on sale and I took her advice.
I asked her what the return policy was on it because I wasn't 100% sure about the color. She said that I could return it within 5 days as long as it was unused and I had the receipt.
Today, 2 days later, I changed my mind about it fully. It turned out that the color WAS wrong. I had also read several reviews online that the hair I had purchased was of poor quality.
(Side note: I guess that's why it was on sale! I briefly blamed myself for not doing my due diligence beforehand. But that's WHY I asked the young lady for help: I didn't know what to choose and I assumed her job was to direct me to the best product!)
I returned and picked out a bunch of other products that I was going to exchange the hair for (It does state on the receipt the return policy: Store credit only), as I decided not to trust their recommendations any further. When I got to the counter, the associate working today told me that I couldn't return it because it was a sale item.
So, to recap: a store associate I spoke to 2 days earlier encouraged me to change my purchase to an inferior item, knowingly sold me a sale item, and assured me that I would be able to return the sale item when it is, in fact, against their policy.

Read moreI like buying my supplies from here because they do have everything and i mean Everything. But, the employees need to be a little more nice to their customers. They're sometimes rude and on top of that, they stare at you hard when you enter the store, like you're about to steal something. It's ridiculous. Just a few days ago, I went to go buy hair shears. I see they were getting ready to close, even though it was 7:30 (the store closes at 8, according to the hours listed) and while I was going to buy the shears, I was getting rushed out of the store by one of the ladies. Like c'mon man. You don't do that. Very unprofessional. I would stop shopping here, but not a lot of beauty supply stores have the products they have and the location is right near my place, so it's convenient. It's unfortunate that the employees treat their customers that way. We're the reason this shop is even still standing. If it continues like this, i’m going to have to take my money elsewhere. I went into this location earlier today to make a small purchase but realized I couldn’t due to the store having a $5 limit for debit cards, and the item I wanted came up to a little under $5. As I was trying to figure out what else I could add to my purchase so that I could pay with my card, the big angry girl SHIHA who was working the cashier began to throw nasty remarks at me until I finally called her out on it. SHIHA began to become irate and started cursing me out and yelling to the top of her lungs. I’ve even witnessed SHIHA be disrespectful to other employees and customers as well. SHIHA has a disgusting attitude and dosent know how to conduct herself in a professional manner. SHIHA is bad for business and needs to be fired.
