Five Below — Local services in New York

Decent. I mean decent is above average. This particular "Five Below," had a wide selection of items, and although the salesperson told me that the store had been rummaged through and most items were out of stock, I saw the opposite; Now it is true, that shelves were on the empty side, they still had one or seven of items for that product. I was very delighted by the welcoming "Welcome to Five Below" by one of the employees. Sweet deals, and I purchased my "Orange Creamsicle Twizzlers," ready for a somewhat lengthy trip to Barclay's Center and I was able to get around six Twizzlers down my gullet, before I was approached by a man, who claimed to be straight out of prison, but I replied 'I have no money,' where he retorted and said "I'm not asking for money because food is good, and my pregnant wife and I are hungry." I felt for him and although painful, I reached into my back pocket and pulled out the half-eaten Twizzlers pack and offered them to this man. Glad to be able to offer something to him and he didn't hesitate to take my offering; He thanked me and 180 degree turn happened right as he was pulling a Twizzler out and munching on it. Glad to be able to help a hungry couple. At this Five Below, I also purchased a "Battle Rope" and it is a good deal. Great value. The "Battle Rope" is real good quality and now I am ready to get a chiseled body. Don't expect any gym reviews from me since to me a "Battle Rope" and a will to transform is all I need to get into shape. For now....

I came to this location looking for a specific item that was marked in stock on the website. Once I arrived I was having some trouble finding it. I asked a staff member where I would be able to locate this item. She said she did see it but thinks it is now out of stock and from what it looked like she went to go look to help me. About a few minutes later I still couldn't find it and she never came back with any assistance. I saw her again huddled up with other staff members on the phone. I asked if she was able to find it and she said that unfortunately, the item is out of stock. Gave me a whole spiel about the morning crew doing inventory and there was only a small section of summer stuff left and that they don't have access to the basement inventory. I told her I drove pretty far and she said I should have called and they would of told me it was out of stock. I asked if there was a manager around and she said she was the manager (which was shocking), if sin fact she is the manager the bar for customer service is at an all-time low! I chose to still give it another look because I really wanted this item. Great news I found it and guess what there were multiple!! It's clear this manager has no idea what is going on in the store and is obviously spending way too much time having personal conversations on the job. Amazing one of a kind and unique merchandise. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. One girl named Brittany was the nicest salesperson/helper I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She was incredibly sweet and helpful. And the prices are mostly good. Although some of the things I bought I did not peruse very closely and they were poorly manufactured. Easy returns and refunds.
