FOOD BAZAAR — Local services in New York

I was at your store on exterior st. in the bx. Went to butcher and had him cut some steaks for me. He wrapped in paper, put on price and sealed in a plastic bag. At cash register the girl poked at bag and said it was marked wrong. she called asst. mngr. and manager took meat to back of store. she came back with the meat unwrapped after crossing whole store. I said something about the meat being exposed, she then walked back across store, had butcher rewrap meat and brought it back to me at a significantly higher price. Every store I've been in you get the lower price when the store makes a mistake, so I asked for manager. Was told he would be right out. 10 minutes later girl came and said 5 min. After another 20 minutes I started yelling through open door "where is the manager", after second yell he appeared. He asked why I'm yelling and I told him I'm a disabled senior that's terminal and don't have time to wait because I don't have much time to live. He said that's not my problem and he's still investigating. He then walked off and I left because my oxygen was low, with the more expensive meat. BY A MAJOR LANDSLIDE, THIS STORE WIPES ALL OTHER SUPERMARKETS OFF OF THE MAP!

Imagine a warehouser style building filled with a high end suburban supermarket feel with a fresh bakery, seafood counter, hot oven prepared items and a multitude of devices and products that you would litera;lly have to go to 10 individual stores in the city to get everything that you do in this one store alone.

The one closest to my house is at the Bronx terminal market (about a 15 min walk or 5 min scooter rode from Park & 135th streets) The amazing fact is that this store is one one floor directly above a branch of BJ discount supermarket/store.

By comparison most get fooled into BJ's and end up with family style mediocre products. Not at Food Bazaar. Lots of individual single serve items and usually 3-5 brands for that product. Hours 7am-1030 pm, 7 days a week is just the additional cherry on the top!

I went and brought 100 dollars worth of things had my own bag used a shopping cart to put my things in as shopping didn't go far from front area grabbing things got to the counter paid with my debit card carrying my bags out a security gard stop me tell me he need my receipt I said wat for wat he says we check everyone receipt and that was a lie I told him didn't see him stop anyone else and people walking pass me and he didn't stop them y would I need to show you my receipt are u insinuating that I was stealing two other guards come I'm explaining to them they said he just want to see your receipt I said what for and explain is this policy or he's trying to say I stole something I was very overwhelmed and my anxiety was triggered I pulled my receipt out and they didn't even want to see it now I want to know why he stopped me they gonna say sorry he's new that's not acceptable and to think I was overjoyed when I walked in the store cause all the things they had and sales even so much to...
