Bronx Burger Co. — Restaurant in New York

So...this place opened up...a smash burger joint...we were excited. We're from the BX and to have a burger joint named Bronx Burger Co., felt nice. If you want over priced flavorless burgers with cold buns, this is the place for you.

Buns looked toasted on the underside, but were somehow still cold -The smashed patty is the thinnest of the thin the patty is completely unseasoned for the size and quality of the burger the almost $10 price tag is not justified. when I tell you a single here is smashed super thin, the box the burger comes in feels weightless, like its empty. $6.75 Mac and Cheese is microwaved, watery and low quality - don't buy it. It was microwaved and also somehow was room temp. They microwaved it in the plastic container, so the container was hot, while the contents were barely heated.

At the time of our visit, they were backed up, there was hostility among the patrons for having to wait so long. The register person was having a very difficult time putting our 'build you're own burger' order in (he was having trouble navigating the POS). What should've been a quick 20-30s turned into a good 4-5mins just getting the order in.

So yeah, overpriced subpar product all around. You're better off going to a Smashburger else where or Rokstar Chicken in the...

I’m giving 5 stars based on my experience Saturday the 25th. The food tasted amazing, the service was friendly and quick in a food court style atmosphere. However, I returned in the afternoon Tuesday the 28th. The cashier was pleasant. My burger was on point, it matched my Saturday experience, however, I purchased fries this time & I was highly dissatisfied. I hope it was just the cook & not the standard moving forward. Based on my Tuesday experience: Food: 2 stars, service 2 stars, atmosphere 5 stars. I walked to the car with my food. The box to the fries was not even warm. Opened the fries, no heat, tasted the fries, it gave fried hours ago and poured into a box… I walked back to get new fries, I didn’t want to make a scene in front of the customers waiting to order and I informed the cashier of my cold fries. The Cashier pointed to the cook who was sitting in the food court using his phone. I told him about the fries and his resolution was to “warm up” my already cold, pre fried fries. I told him no, I wanted new fries… I feel like he did what I asked him not to do & just threw my fries that I already touched, back into the fryer. I hope that the manager or owner sees this review. I would still like a fresh batch of fries and some retraining on customer service...

I've had lots of burgers in the past, from chain restaurants like Applebees to halal places like Krazy Grill. I can say with confidence that the burgers offered here are some of the best I've had in awhile! A few days ago I tried their caramelized onion burger with fries and my goodness it was a hit! The onions had a nice earthy taste to it and the sauce they put on the burger is great.

Try their Black Truffle mayo on the fries, its a HIT! Today I tried their maple bacon burger and its cooked really well! The maple syrup definitely compliments the burger but be sure to have a napkin ready lol. Me, my brother and my ma tried the mac and cheese and its really good and creamy! The bread was soft and warm for all the burgers we brought from the two encounters we had with them. To add, the fries were Crispy and the service was great! A 10/10 from me!
