NEVER AGAIN ! I came in at 5:30 and ordered 3 dishes, I was told 30 minutes. That’s a long time for pickup but understandable since there were other people. But then, the people that came in after us got their food 20 minutes before us !!! When we ordered 10 minutes before them and ordered smaller and simpler meals, they got big seafood plate and an entire rotisserie chicken. I ordered 2 pollo salados, which is fries chicken and rice, i don’t understand why it took so long for something so simple and other people are getting gourmet meals in 15 minutes. I waited 45+ minutes sitting there waiting for a mediocre meal that was made with two different types of fries, obviously frozen ! I will add images. Not only did I come in at 5:30 and got my food at 6:20. The staff were not kind at all. I could barely communicate with the waitress. Once your a regular they think they can take advantage, and take a ridiculous amount of time and don’t even bother to use basic customer service skills. No compensation for the terrible experience . Everything is also so dirty ! Instead of trying to be understanding, the waiter instead proceeded to tell me there’s nothing he can do, maybe compensation for wasting my time??? Should’ve canceled the order when it came out. Never going back again to pay ridiculous prices for frozen old food. 40$ for this, and then they wanna charge extra for a little bit of sauce with an attitude and no regard for the...

The food was terrible, we would give it a 1 to 3 out of 10. The tamale was very mashed, tasteless, the Peruvian tamale tastes much better than this (1 point) The ceviche was not fresh, frozen fish, it lacked acidity, it had very thick pieces of onion, a lot of garlic, not much spice (aji) even though they asked for it spicy, it was spicy because of the garlic and it lacked the characteristic flavor of Peruvian ceviche (3 points) The chicha morada was not purple, it was watery, it was too sweet, you couldn't taste the lemon and it had no flavor (1 point) The anticuchos were better, but they can work on the seasoning a little bit more, you could taste the grill, but it lacked aji panca, salsa anticuchos, etc. (3 points) The papa a la huancaína was a 2 (2 points), it lacked the aroma and flavor of the yellow chili, unfortunately it was just any cream, but that is not huancaína. The empanadas disappointed us (1 point), hard as a rock, very greasy (because they fry them) and the filling was a disaster. The Aji was not aji Amarillo sauce, it was pure mayonnaise with jalapeño, a lot of mayonnaise is what you taste for sure. Another failure of a Peruvian restaurant. We know that not everyone who has Peruvian restaurants knows how to cook, but at least hire better cooks, remember that you with your restaurants represent your country and gastronomy, and unfortunately this does not leave Peruvian food in a good...

Wait.. what? Was that the restaurant response below?? !!!!wow!! First of all. I am not a delivery driver, I'm a consumer who asked for delivery. I got an order and gave you one star because your service and food are not good.. honestly, didn't want to get into giving those details, but your rude response and lack of ethic and professionalism made me do it. This is not really Peruvian (hay verdaderos restaurantes peruanos en el área pero este NO! ) your food is greasy(arroz.. causa is soggy..) and super expensive. And isn't google open for customer comments? I order a while ago and gave another chance but definitely disappointed...And I see your replies to other people.. wow! Sooo bad... need to get some tips:Tips for responding to customer reviews Say thank you. Respond in a timely manner. Stay professional and courteous. Understand your customer's experience with your business. Apologize when appropriate. Offer to talk it over if a customer has a complaint. Show that you're authentic and genuine by signing your name or initials. And .. also.. feel bad for whoever you were referring as a delivery driver.. you should never EVER refer to a person who is kindly doing such hard job this...

Definitely a hidden gem. Nestled all the way at the end of Austin Street, a must try for those who enjoy Peruvian food. Food was excellent, price was not high whatsoever for the quality of food. My party and I started with the beef empanadas and I have to say they were the best empanadas I’ve ever had. The puff pastry was the perfect texture and the filling was just delicious. Clearly made in house and with lots of love. For our mains, we got the Lomo Salgado and salmon with veggies. The Lomo was excellent, and a nice portion for only $20. The salmon and veggies were also very good. We finished off with a thick slice of Flan which was a nice palette cleanser. I’ll for sure be coming back to explore the rest of the menu, I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface.

I'm giving this a 3 stars because there was nothing Peruvian about this restaurant. One try is enough. I ordered the Chaufa Mariscos (seafood fried rice), sweet plantains and french fries. The food sadly lacked flavor and was heavy on the salt. For the hefty price it was absolutely not worth the drive. The only thing I enjoyed was the sweet plantains. The rice had clam shells all in it. I was crunching on God knows what. I trust my taste buds and if this simple dish lacked flavor, I will not bother with anything else. The green hot sauce is my fave and even that was not tasty. I'd honestly prefer to drive to NJ for my Peruvian food fix. But this spot is a two thumbs down.
