PLEASE READ!!!!!! I've been a frequent customer of this place since the first week the place opened and trust me when I say.. the place went downhill massively! First of all let me start of by saying the owner switching was a terrible idea and it shows, the new owner I believe his name is Danny has no idea how to run the shop and it shows, Why do you ask? Well prices went up, New employees literally almost every week and even better horrible SERVICE and The quality is not great which is a big upset because I've ordered many sandwiches but now either I find hair on them or little meat, icing of the cake was finding a nail on the food which is completely gross and extremely unprofessional. The new employees have no idea what they are doing along with the bosses whom I believe are a couple. If you see the boss working that's how you know the place gone downhill not even the previous Boss had the audacity. There used to be a guy with an afro a tall white skinny guy with a beard and a talkative guy with glasses who was very welcoming, i do not see those guys anymore which is a let down because now when you enter and order you either listen to the crew complain or either give long faces, are the Og crew gone? I wonder why... The shop needs a major overhaul and it needs one badly if this continues than either the shop closes down or change direction and sell different items which is a terrible idea. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to waste time or money on this place not worth it. I heard the owner likes to give free sandwiches or discounts to those who give bad reviews but I do not need that treatment, Do the "OGS" a favor and step the game up before everything falls apart. And to Danny you do not know how to run the shop, I heard you are a great boxer please stick with that and don't embarrass yourself trying to uplift the shop it's clearly not working. I'll change my review when I see improvements but for now STACKED is a shadow of its former self.. What a heavy upset...

Stacked is the type of sandwich shop I would really like in theory and don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the sandwich I got. But it's not a place I would put on a rotation or feel the need to come back.

For one, I was super excited to find this type of establishment on Austin Street, as it really does need something like this. The place itself has a pretty hip vibe- the menu is written in colorful chalk with fun designs. I've been twice and both times have been the only person in the place, so not sure how busy it gets.

This most recent time I got the Aged to Perfection. It's a solid sandwich. A skosh on the pricy end for what it is but not outrageous for the area. I don't know that I agree that their medium size could feed 2 people but maybe if you're not so hungry. I do wish they offered options beyond whole & wheat bread (i.e. a wrap- when I asked about this I was told they had quesadillas which...obviously are not the same). Since I was the only person there the service was quick.

But in review of the rest of the menu there really wasn't much else that made me want to come back. I think some of their sandwiches are interesting for the sake of being unique but maybe they could use some more just standard fare. And the location itself is a bit difficult to get to. It's directly next to a police precinct and a busy apartment area, so the parking can...

Update: I asked kindly for no tomatoes. I got tomatoes. It's literally the only other detail on the receipt other than the actual sandwich order. I hope this is just a one time thing.

Stacked Sandwich Shop is a standout destination for anyone looking to elevate their sandwich game. I tried their Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich, which perfectly captured the flavors of a classic Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form. It was absolutely delicious and a testament to their creativity and quality ingredients.

One notable tip: you don’t have to opt for their Stacked variation unless you’re planning to have leftovers! The regular size is plenty for one person, but if you go for the Stacked option, you’ll have enough for another meal later.

The shop itself is clean, with a welcoming and warm staff that enhances the dining experience. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and the uniqueness of their menu. It’s a refreshing change from the standard offerings at chains like Subway or Jersey Mike’s.

With its creative menu, great portions, and inviting atmosphere, Stacked Sandwich Shop is a must-visit for sandwich enthusiasts. Highly...

The place is a hole in the wall with no seating but that’s usually an indication that the food will be delicious and that was the case here. I got the meatball sub because it’s easy to throw some cold cuts on a sandwich and I wanted to see how good their meatballs were. The sub was very good and the hand held quesadilla s’mores was delicious too. The only reason why I’m taking off a star is because the women working the register didn’t allow me to finish entering my email in order to gain points for my order. For those who don’t know, every $100 you spend you get $10 back. For signing up for rewards you automatically get 25 points and I spend over $30 which would mean I would be over half way to getting a reward. She assured me that I would be able to add points later but after checking the app, there is no way to do that actually. She said that she was new so she probably didn’t know. It’s just annoying to offer a rewards system that you don’t even let clients use. What’s the point of it then? I live close but I most likely won’t be back. I do recommend trying out though!

The definition of pathetic customer service? It's this store. If I could give it a -5 stars, I absolutely would. When I went to collect my pick-up order, the bag they packed it in completely fell apart because the sauce container leaked everywhere. While I was being courteous and cleaning up the mess—essentially doing the staff's job—the girl who handed me the bag casually mentioned that the trash was located elsewhere. I pointed out that I was literally doing her job at that moment, and her response was a dismissive "whatever." This experience clearly reflects their lack of professionalism.
