Foster Pool — Local services in New York

It's not a bad place to cool off at. The rules are pretty strict. You must come with an actual bathing suit or white plain shirt if not they won't let you swim. Some of the staff do have attitudes and some are actually nice but I guess it depends on the day. The place is pretty clean where the pool area is. The locker area seems like they could use an upgrade. The place were u put your lock on looks like some are broken like someone has pulled it to make them loose. One time I was trying to walk to the pool and was told I need to take my cover up off because it wasn't a bathing suit but it's made to wear...

You guys can say what you want about the people here but I've always had a great experience especially with the ladies who work there and the lady with the salt and pepper hair who I think is the supervisor definitely does NOT come to play she makes sure everything is going how it's supposed to go and that everyone is enjoying themselves. People forget this is a pool and they sit in these hot lockers all day and in the sun waiting on us from the min we come in untll the very min we leave. They give u the same energy u give them so a kind good morning and good afternoon ladies...

The check in process was quick and easy since I came in at 11am on a Friday. The staff in the front was very clear with her instructions and very pleasant. Everything goes in the locker even cellphones so it sucks that you can’t take pictures, however the staff inside the pool area especially the lady that sits outside of the showers is nasty and miserable along with her coworker who was a much older lady. Besides that the pool was very clean and great even the locker room and showers. You can tell they renovated the pool since I was last there over...
