The Hard Rock Cafe has a fun, lively vibe that makes it the perfect place to grab a bite before a Yankees game. The hospitality here really stands out. From the host desk to the servers and manager, everyone is friendly, attentive, and efficient. They always make us feel welcome and frequently check-in without being overbearing. They know exactly how to strike the perfect balance of being efficient but never making you feel rushed. A special thank you to Barbara who was our amazing server on Thursday. Whether it was extra napkins, or water refills, she was always one step ahead. We never had to flag her down, she anticipated what we needed and made sure we were having a great experience. Barbara went beyond just excellent service, she took the time to chat and made everyone feel right at home. Many thanks to Christos, the manager, for taking care of us. He went out of his way to stop by our table during what was clearly a busy time. He checked-in to make sure everything was going well and that we were enjoying our dining experience. You can see how hard he works to try and accommodate everyone. The level of service here really shines and shows how well the entire staff works together as a team. We really enjoy the food at the Hard Rock and appreciate the variety on the menu. The portion sizes are generous, which is always a plus. Appetizers are easy to share, making it great for our party of 6. Our go-to appetizers are the flatbreads and the nachos. They’re always made just right, with the perfect amount of melted cheese and served at just the right temperature, delicious! Their burgers are fantastic. You can easily customize your order. They have the right amount of seasoning and are never dry. The fried chicken sandwich is another one of our favorites, it’s full of flavor and tender. The perfect combination of great food, friendly people, and a well-run space keeps us coming back. The Hard Rock really...
Read moreThis place is the epitome of hospitality, which should mean a lot from a small town southern boy who used to be a server/bartender. Sasha up front set the stage for the welcome and relaxed atmosphere and the excellent service we would receive. Then Michelle and Elise would guide my friend, Phil, and I through our meal and drinks. Offering us specials and giving us good recommendations along the way all while making us out-of-towners feel like this is where we belonged. As if the service couldn't be any better, after talking to the GM Chris about our travel plans he became concerned we might not make our flight on time and offered to drive us to the airport. At first I was a bit skeptical as that was so beyond the scope of their duties, but lo and behold Chris was a man of his word and drove my friend and I to the airport to make sure we got back to sweet home Alabama without skipping a beat. Chris and all of his staff wrapped up our trip with a bow and provided the perfect bookend to our journey. New York was an experience I won't soon forget and a lot of the lasting impressions and fond memories I have of the city and its people stem from the love and care we were greeted with by Chris, Elise, Michelle, Sasha and all the rest of the staff there. They may not ever know how much it meant to us, but I hope we get to visit again so we can go back, eat with them again and thank them for being the awesome, genuine folks...
Read moreIf it weren’t for the food, I would definitely definitely not recommend this place! I was here in July of 2017. I was here with my fiancée/ now husband and his friend for my husband’s birthday. You could see that I was CLEARLY pregnant and the lady bar tender walked over and joined over table conversation half the time leaning on my husband’s shoulders. RIDICULOUS! This is not how servers are suppose to act around their customers and I have studied psychology, so I know a lot in regard to body language and it is intimidating to lean on to some one’s partner and just plain rude. She was asking me: “who’s baby was it?” And I told her: “myself.” Ladies do not bring your bf/ fiancée/ or husband here unless you want to feel uncomfortable the whole time. I should have wrote this long ago but I remembered now. Men can also experience sexual harassment and you are not suppose to “touch” your customers. Those bar tenders need some lessons/ courses. One more thing, I believe in karma so when people act like that and try to make others feel uncomfortable or bad, it will come back to them. May God bless all! Have a...
