I unfortunately had a very negative experience here the morning of 3/9. My friend and I made bracelets the day before, and TWO of the charms fell off on hers the SAME day. She was able to locate one charm, but the other was lost. We went back into the store to have them fix it (granted this was on our very short trip to NYC) and we were met by a very rude and hostile sales associate who demanded my friend show her receipt before she would help her. My friend said she had deleted her receipt (sent by text) so the associate said “then i can’t help you.” So my friend had to literally pull up her bank statement in the middle of the store to show proof of purchase. I was absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service. There was zero apology about the broken bracelet and we were almost treated as if we were scammers. I visited the shop for my birthday and made the cutest charm bracelet. Although my experience in store was memorable and enjoyable- I am leaving a 5 star review for the assistance I received months following my in person visit. Sadly, one of my charms became tarnished and discolored. I contacted the store via email showing them the charm. I received a response almost instantly. I was provided with multiple photos of charms to select as a replacement. Andrea E. provided her assistance and opinion as to what charms would fit my current bracelets vibe as well as size. I had such a wonderful experience at Gabriella Ceballos NY Jewellery in West Village. The store has a beautiful selection, but what really stood out was the service. Sonam was absolutely amazing — she was so helpful, patient, and really took the time to answer all of my questions. She listened to what I was looking for, guided me through different options, and made sure I felt comfortable with my choices. Her warm and attentive approach made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.
