I walked in today to sell a game that still had the plastic on it because a friend of mine had bought me A game that I already had so I forgot to take the plastic off or actually didnāt think of it. When I walked in today I was greeted by a man who I had never seen there before who worked there who insinuated that I stole the game and told me I had to walk around the corner in the cold to take the plastic off and then come back in to trade it, and also told me very nicely that I needed an ID as if I didnāt know that already or as if I somehow didnāt have one he then proceeded to take his time and take other customers ahead of me while I was waiting and then told me he couldnāt take my game because it came out within six months which is something Iāve never heard of it. I donāt think itās store policy so I came to the conclusion that I donāt think he wanted to help me out at all so I will never be going back to this GameStop because their workers are always rude and just to think that he wouldnāt take my trade-in game because he told me the lamest response that the game didnāt come out in the last six months or Iām sorry the game came out in the last six months is complete bull I suggest no one ever goes back to this GameStop especially when this guy is here because heās really really really rude and I feel like I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to pickup a game they said they had in stock, I also tried calling 6 times beforehand and no one answers the phone. When I get there, the girl every other review is about, says only preorders are available. But the game has been released for ONE MONTH now??? Why are they still holding preorders when it should be cancelled and refunded within 7 days as per store policy if not picked up? It's over a month. They could have made a sale today, but fortunately, instead of arguing- took a whole bus to downtown Brooklyn and gave Target my money instead. I'll still look into reporting this though because you shouldn't be holding games for over a month and not making actual sales with ACTUAL customers. She was also on break when I got there with a sign on the window, I can't say how often they take breaks here since I don't come often but let the reviews have you figure that out. One location nearby already closed guys, do better with your jobs. Miss the older workers that used to work at Gamestop and helped you and answered...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOver a decade of going shopping at GameStop in different cities over the east coast and I have always have always had a decent rapport with the employees, until today. The girl with the pink and black hair and piercing (that doesnāt narrow it down because both employees had there had those attributes) never made eye contact and typed on her phone without speaking with me for a minute before asking āwhat can I get for you?ā As I awkwardly held the game I wanted to purchase. If she only looked up. I would typically ask the employees about the games, but she clearly had no interest in games nor her job. She finished the transaction by printing the receipt, folding it, and sliding it and the game across the counter followed. I stood there for a good moment until she said SOMETHING, I eventually got a āhave a nice dayā. Worst GameStop I have ever...
