Golden nail spa — Local services in New York

I have been going to this place since it is close to my apt for a few months now. There were always some issues with the quality, but this time i had such an horrible, hurtful experience i am never going back. I notice they put a wrong color of SNS powder on my nails, after they already applied it. To take SNS powder off will take another soak, 30 more minutes and most important will ruin my nails. So I agreed to stay with the wrong color. Not only I have not offered any compensation at all, when complaining about it, they told me there will be no compensation and a lady name Lydia was shouting on me for arguing. After arguing that i do not like the color they mistakenly applied, they made me wait 20 more min because the new receptionist was not able to find my membership card and made mistake with my bill. They ended up offering me $10 discount. I was there for 1.5 hours for their mistakes. Not even an apology I received. I cannot believe business with customers will treat its loyal...

The experience was 5 stars up until the end ! Myself and my girl went for pedicures and the two lady’s we had were perfect and was even making jokes with us. For context they were Hispanic along with us, so for the most part we were all speaking spanish. I wanted to do a manicure because my girl was still drying her feet and after my cuticles were butchered with much blood I was told to pay before applying the clear coat. Which is uncommon, and with no protest I said sure even though it’s weird. Then I didn’t leave a tip because I wanted to tip in cash and the manager (Asain) harassed me essentially saying to give up my Venmo. I told the girls in Spanish I’ll stop by tomorrow and I assume because she didnt understand me she again she attacked me again and in the end saying I didn’t mean to get you upset. Seems to me payment and tips matter more to them than actually trying to finish up. There were also two other woman who were I the salon and they didn’t have...

I'm really picky about where I get my nails done in the city. Too many places sacrifice cleanliness and cheap product for cost savings. Golden Nail is truly the best nail salon in the neighborhood! My boyfriend and I get pedicures here regularly. Every single time, new tools are used, spaces are wipes down, Covid-19 protocols are properly followed. The nail technicians are wonderful! We are always greeted and welcomed into the store. I'm always asked if this is how I want my nails, if the water is a good temperature, etc. These simple questions make for a much better experience! My nails are cut well, color done neatly, and the polish lasts!! I've never had it chip until many weeks later. They also have a wonderful rewards program. I cannot recommend this nail...
