I’ve been to several Google offices around the world and this office has a very unique design. It has a bird’s eye view of nyc projected onto the floor (I believe it’s only on for events) and a walkway over a commercial barista/restaurant that I’ve never seen anywhere else. This office is mainly meant to host events and customers, so it’s made to impress. Security will also kick you out of the beautiful event areas but you can still take a quick look and get some photos. The park on the roof offers a nice view of the skyline and nearby Little Island. The food is much better at the nearby 9th street office, so swing by there for meals if you can.

I’m at St. John’s terminal Google corporate building trying to find a way in So the receptionist at the front desk just informed me that I can’t actually gain access into Google St. John’s terminal building unless I have been invited so I need an inside man or a way in whether its a Google developer group or some form of invitation in so I can actually gain entry because there’s a no entry policy unless Invited. Great architectural design by the way, I wonder what they’re hiding underneath and the back bone into this place.

I got to visit the Google NYC office for a Chrome event, and I’m honestly a little jealous I don’t get to work there full time! They have a great office both for location and layout. Definitely hope I get the chance to visit again in the future. 😁 Shout out to the physical security team who had the visitor experience working like a well-oiled machine.

I think Google should take a little more consideration in all branches of employment and making sure they properly represent what Google is about, or at least not to be rude. Today at 6:45 I walked into the pier 57 building, lost and trying to find directions. I walked up to the Google security guard and greeted him and was about to ask for assistance but then he cut me off and dismissive told me the area was for Google employees only, I told him I understand and tried to ask him again for assistance and he dismissively told me once more the area was for goof employees only. I walked away and he kept saying things under his breath about me and laughing. And I asked to speak to his manager and for his name he grew fearful and started ignoring me. I understand working a job that you may not like or having a bad day but there is no need for rudeness especially if your the first face they see, it just makes the...
