The @beardfoundation food hall, Market 57 (at @pier57.nyc in Meatpacking) is officially open with 16 different food vendors! Must order items: @bessounyc’s Hot Honey Chicken Sando @mijo_nyc (by @fanygerson)’s Chicken Tinga Toastada @localrootsnyc’s Scallion Pancake Cheese Melt @thegoodbatch Ice Cream Sandwiches Highly recommend checking this out, sooner rather than later, as it is bound to get busy! Plan to make a day of it and spend some time relaxing on their rooftop garden. #thingstodoinnyc #nybucketlist #littleisland #market57 #jamesbeard #meatpacking #chelseapiers #nycfood #nycrestaurants #nycopenings #mysecretnyc #eater #newyorkcity #explorenyc #icecreamsandwich #tacos #timeoutnewyork

Excited about the new market at @pier57.nyc ! The James Beard Foundation helped curated the restaurants in here so there’s some great spots. It’s also super spatious and has gorgeous views of the water and a rooftop. Here’s what we tried and spent! 🌟 @zaabzaabnyc is known for their Thai food and they were handing out samples of their pineapple fried rice (delicious), they have a few locations across the city 🌟 @bessounyc is serving Japanese fried chicken (karage) and massive crispy tuna rice for $8 🌟 @mijo_nyc is a new spot behind the @lanewyorkina team and their first savory offerings but the tacos are legit, loved the crispy cheese and mushroom for $4.75 🌟 @nomwah is always popping up in food halls so they have a stand here serving their signature dim sum, you have to get a set of 8 but you can mix and match - $16 🌟 @localrootsnyc has been getting buzz for their cheesy scallion pancake, sadly they were sold out, but we tired a Yuzu Arnold Palmer with boba - $6.50 🌟 rounded out the meal with @birdandbranchnyc with an extremely chewy yet not too sweet pandan mochi cake - $4.36 • • • • #sistersnacking #nyc #newyorkcity #nycrestaurants

Tacos sold for 5$ and 6$ and got a trio for 15$. I ordered on a busy Saturday afternoon and got them in 15m, I was disappointed by the lack of salsa and the tiny portions, no double tortilla either. The pollo taco had good flavor but because it was so tiny I ate it in 2 bites, the steak taco was great and decently sized too, I really missed the taco de gallo and green sauce though, the shrimp taco was the one I liked the most, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, the sauce was just a tiny bit spicy which was neutralized by the avocado and the mashed beans which I liked, a lot of good flavors, it was a great shrimp taco.

I recently ordered catering for 40 ppl from Mijo and it was an absolute hit with all our guests! We ordered the taco arabe, shrimp and mushroom tacos and they were absolutely amazing. True mexican flavors (we are mexican). The tacos came with all the fixings: cilantro, onions, lime wedges, two kinds of salsas, special salsa for the shrimp tacos and all the cutlery and plates for serving and eating! Pick up was smooth and quick and everything was labeled perfectly. I will definitely recommend this place for every party! Dani, the owner, was amazing to...

I can’t decide if eating at Mijo eased my feeling of being homesick or it actually made it bigger, eating there is just like being transported to a real chilango foody trip!

loved it all! It was like being a mijita myself!!! They treated us so warmly and lovingly!

Food was amazing! I especially recommend “costras” unique and so authentic.

Don't miss ”elote callejero” and “ensalada pico”. Chase it with a michelada and forget about summer heat! sooo refreshing!

Cant wait to go back! they let us taste the mole and it will for sure be...
