Ā Ā Ā Read moreA couple of things went wrong. First, I called to make sure this place accepts Credit Card. They said yes, only to find out when I had to pay that "Oh no, the machine is not there today, we don't have the square, but we have an ATM". I'm sorry but if you have an ATM as a way to get credit card payments, you should not say I can pay with credit card.
I went for a hot towel shave because I have a sensitive skin and this is the only way I can shave without getting ingrown hairs or infections. The guy trimmed me with a buzz. That's specifically what gives me skin bumps. What's the point of a hot towel shave if you're going to spread bacterias all over your customer face with something you never wash, then put a hot towel to open up the pores so all these nasty stuff get under the skin. That's so disgusting. Also, I had to ask for my t-shirt to be protected by a towel because he just started applying the foam on my face without covering anything.
No cold towel to close the pores after the shave.
I'm honestly doubting the person who shaved my face knew what he was doing. I'm never going to go there again. It's basically the worst hot towel shave I ever had.
I'm giving two stars because I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is VERY hit & miss. Over the last 2 years, I have done a walk in men's haircut about once every other month. My haircut is nothing fancy or atypical. Most of my haircuts are very good to excellent. However in the last 4 months a woman has cut my hair terribly. It was the same person both times. In essence, she cuts the hair on the top of my air asymmetrically, such that the hair on the left side of the top of my head is 1/2 to 1 inch longer than the hair on the right side of the top of my head (I comb my hair from left to right, but I am not balding). No one who has cut my hair has ever done it that way other than this person. When it's freshly cut, it looked OK, but both times I went home and showered, and as I was combing my hair the outlandish asymmetricality was all too obvious. Both times, I had to fix it myself with a beard trimmer. I spent $48 including tip (twice) to have a messed up haircut that I had to redo. I am...
