The cliff notes: I went in for a last minute Mani Pedi on a Saturday night (7pm) for that reason alone you should go lol their availability is great. The staff is AMAZING. Jessica and Marisol were so wonderful, very precise and did beautiful work. Prices are very fair, I'd say you get really great value for your money. Because it was last minute and I wasn't wearing the proper shoes, I messed up my beautiful perfect Mani Pedi. (will address this at the end) I had taken two steps out the door when I realized so I came back in. Mind you, it was 9 o'clock and they were pretty much closed. I had already paid, had no cash on me. They welcomed me back in and I kid you not redid my entire manicure in like 10-15min. It looks amazing still, considering everything. And they could've easily turned me away. They also ended up gifting me a pair of flipflops because of the no cash situation. They were incredible. I needed nails for an event I'm going tomorrow and my nails look so pretty!!! I'm beyond ecstatic with my choice (I chose for proximity from my hotel, didn't even read reviews first) and the whole service/experience was amazing. And yes they offer complimentary drinks (water, tea, wine) It's a 10/10 for me. The only small nitpick is that they charge like $2 extra for the fast drying topcoat. I don't know much about nails and I had never been asked for this type of surcharge before, so it didn't really click that it was important (really important) My advice is that all the packages (I got sea spa) should have the fast drying stuff already included/priced in and if you're going to do that to maybe offer it as a "fast drying manicure/pedicure" from the start (like we have "gel manicure" now) just so it's more clear to clueless customers like myself. After 30 minutes flapping my hands around the polish still wasn't quite set so I ruined them (just a little bit) once again. Of course it's my own fault for not getting the stuff but I truly didn't know it was needed. (You can see the imperfections in the photos but they were sooo perfect, and for such a quick fix you wouldn't really know!) Anyway that has nothing to do with the staff, those are the business decisions taken by the owners. So that's my review. I did love it, the staff, atmosphere, that gorgeous light fixture and the massage chairs were superb. The slow drying stuff sucked, but that's like 90% my fault lol. If you're debating about going, just go! Just remember to get the fast drying stuff or be prepared to sit there for a loong time (and even then ..lol) anyway, thank you to everyone!!!

DON'T DO IT. Photos taken immediately before and after my appointment concluded. Fingers cut: As you can see, my cuticles were cut, to the point of bleeding - despite asking for NO cuticle cutting, she did it anyway and it hurt. Sloppy paint job: She also didn't paint within the nail, as you can also see my skin is covered in this sparkly paint (which also wasn't the color I selected). The gel is so low on the nail it already looks grown out, even though I *just* left my appt. 5 mins ago. Want tips in cash: They push you HARD for cash, but wait until after your appointment to tell you this. Sketchy practices: Wide selection of colors on display, but they don't actually give you the color you asked for, so beware. They'll also charge you for a massage you didn't ask for, because you didn't tell them to stop (even though it seems like it's part of the experience). Summary: I won't be returning, this is one of the worst manicures I've ever had. Not pictured: the dirty tools they used (not sanitized like their website says), the uneven texture my GEL nails now have (how!?), and the 3x I had to ask her to touch up my half-painted nails before giving up and accepting that I just won't come back.

Came here last minute and they were able to seat me immediately and do a gel mani and Pedi pretty quickly. Mani: shaping was excellent, polish was good but I should have asked for more coats honestly so that's on me (she only did 1 base, 2 color, 1 top). I got magnetic polish and the nail tech was really nice, but she started doing the magnet on the first layer. Usually this is done on the 2nd or 3rd layer to get a very noticable design. I had to ask her to do it on the 2nd coat and she happily obliged, but I would prefer that she knew this without me having to tell her. I'm not sure how long this mani will last, given she wasn't careful to avoid the edges. Pedi: she was gentle and did a great job. I normally hate having my feet touched and I enjoyed this experience. Nice touches: wine! As others have mentioned, they offer you wine or tea here and I think that's a great addition. They were really quick too, I appreciate the quick turn around as I was in a rush. Drawbacks: the place could be a little cleaner. There was residue on the chairs and the seats didn't seem cleaned between clients. Price: in total this came out to $94+tip. This is great for a gel mani + pedi.

I don’t believe these reviews are real. I’m still in shock by my experience & for anyone who values being treated like a customer, I don’t recommend this place. I really do not recommend it if you are of Black. This place clearly profiles & should be looked into.

Not to mention, they do not have Covid safe practices. The technicians, cough and sneeze in their hands while touching you. I had to remind them to please use antibacterial.

The discriminatory behavior partnered with being nasty does not rank this place. Completely not worth it.

First, it was blatantly obvious when I walked in that everyone hesitated to service me. finally, woman came over and rushed me through selecting the nail polish color I wanted. Then, as I sat down to get my pedicure, I watched everyone else in the shop to get offered a drink and greeted properly and I was never.

I thought twice about staying, but allowed the service to continue. The person who did my nails was so rough and when I told her she started Rolling her eyes and speaking a different language.

Her rudeness continued from there. When I asked for my nails to be cut down a little bit further, and properly shaped, she then complained. Mind you during my pedicure and my manicure service. She never asked what shape did I want.

Then, she told me “I only have 10 more minutes. The store closes soon, I can’t ask you those kind of questions I need to go!”

I looked around the shop and there were other getting service and we’re not being rushed. I also watched a lady walk around to every person and ask them if they wanted a massage. I was never asked.

As the service became increasingly worse, I said, “why are you are treating me so differently?”

The nail tech response, “my husband is Black!”

What??? I could not believe she said that to me! Mind you, I never mentioned race not once.

I could not wait to leave. I could feel myself becoming emotional and very uncomfortable.

We were close to ending the service. I paid and left immediately.

Again, there is nothing about this place that is worth enduring this level of...

From the moment you enter the vibe in Himalayan Nail and Spa is great. The greeting is warm & inviting. The staff works quickly & accommodates you in getting comfortable. They allow you to pick your seat. Then the set up is fast & seamless. The options for my pedicure this day were all well priced. There were 4 great choices that excellently treats your feet & legs. From sea salt & lavender to green tea & lemon. All 4 of which I would end up wanting to do multiple times. The ladies are sweet but are direct when tending to you. She worked with great efficiency but took care to all the right places. The seating I very comfortable with standard message chairs. The vibe & mood is very calming with tranquil with piano & nature tones in the back ground. The service is endearing. They take your jacket & make you relaxed. And a great sign of a business that cares about your experience, they offer a complimentary glass of beverage while they're working on you. I got the glass of ice water this time that seem like wine, I didn't know I was that thirsty. After, the message was so wonderful. She didn't rush & you can tell they have been trained well for messaging. The result after was amazing. My feet looked smooth, soft & even. My toes were emaciate. I ended up sitting later after as my feet dried, they didn't just rush & scoot me along. & while finishing my drink & ended up having a great conversation with a fellow patron. The experience I can say is always wonderful & fulfilling. Today was my pedicure but the manicure is just the same. Himalayan Nail & Spa is one of my favorite nail spas in the city. I love coming back & enjoying the experience. I would always recommend that if your looking for & great nail spa treatment with wonderful service & a relaxing experience here is your place when your in the Hells Kitchen area, Himalayan Nail & Spa is my best nail...
