Living in New York for over 20 years, I have experienced many sushi restaurants, sashimi restaurants, and Japanese restaurants, but I can say that this is the freshest and best quality I have ever encountered at a sushi and sashimi takeout restaurant. I visited once after hearing that the owner was a former hotel chef, and the food was great. It was really surprising. Would sashimi be okay in the summer? If you're worried, that's why you should enjoy sashimi made with fresh ingredients like here. This restaurant's signature menu item, spicy cooked salmon, is a combination of flavors you've never tasted anywhere else. We recommend it as an excellent take-out restaurant. I'm very regular customer now.

The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations and quick service. If you’re a sushi lover, HI SUSHI AND SASHIMI is an absolute must-visit. It was truly a pleasure to dine. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this place! ☺️

I’m glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! I really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi. I’ve been to a good number of sushi restaurants and this place is now definitely on my list for amazing quality sushi. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh! I got the sashimi deluxe and each piece melted in my mouth. Very tender and soft texture! I usually don’t like tuna, but the tuna here was very good. I also split the Pink Lady Roll with my friend and it was delicious too! My friend really enjoyed the hi sushi special roll and the crispy tempura roll. Super scrumptious!

The staff gave us edamame and miso soup on the house! We really appreciate that.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good sushi! I will definitely be...
