Yumi Eyelash Extensions — Local services in New York

My sister and I have been going here probably since 2018 or 2019. Obviously because of the pandemic our attendance slowed down. If I could remember correctly our last time going there was 2022. We stopped getting our lashes done. My bday was last Sunday and we had a trip planned so it was between yumi and sumi (whom we went to prior going to yumi). Collectively we chose YUMI! Let me add we have always add a great experience. No hassle for tips or anything. Only thing that used to irritate me was parking but the guy was always there to take the car. This recent trip however!!!! Let me just say hated a few seconds of it. We scheduled for 9am or 9:30 got there extra early but I think they been opened so we sat in the car waiting. Anyway parking was good. Got done with my lashes and told the lady I’m paying for my sister. She then goes “are you giving tip with cash or card.” Lol I’m sorry what?! I hate that. I always tip and if I tip card I know to say that. Told her my sister will tip. My sister got done and asked me who to tip. My sister told me they were hassling her to tip them!!! Now im irritated cause quite frankly we are not REQUIRED to tip. Its a courtesy. Tell your workers to cut it out. On top of that my sister speaks a bit Korean and she stated the girl doing her lashes was talking about her. Let me also add. We both got volume the $150 value. Ain’t nothing about our lashes volume. Omg Yumi is amazing, she is such a professional. This place offers very high quality service, valet parking, a peaceful quiet atmosphere with music, heated blankets and pillows, water and refreshments. Honestly i would have come here only for the eyelashes but the overall experience is 5 star and I love getting my moneys worth. The technicians really take their time, they select the best possible sizes and textures of mink eyelash extensions for each person individually they give you a card with the information of what style and lash length you recieved as well as who did your extension. They are so generous with applying the extensions and do not over charge. I always get so many compliments on my lashes. It feels really good to wake up in the morning and look fabulous without any makeup. Their job is so tenuous and they have a lot of patience but the best part really is that their product is good. You dont feel like you have a load of glue or heavy lashes. It feels and looks so natural. Love this...
