Update: service was slow not sure why only ordered a simple thai noodle dish and it takes very long wait. It's very salty and makes my tong tingle, will not order this again.

My friend and I were craving Hainan 🐔 so I suggested we give this place a try since it's located half way between us. To both of us the taste of the chicken was better than expected, we didn't have high expectations. The sauces were good but on the salty side, it was good they put in side containers so use at your own discretion. The menu is extensive I am surprised what looks like a small store front can offer such a variety. I am going back to try some of their other offerings. Paid street parking available. searched google for cafe 48 ordered the food through google/delivery.com based on the picture when I went to pick up the food they insisted this was what ordered. I didn’t have my phone on me at the moment to verify checked phone when I got home and food did not look anything like what was on the order form called restaurant to see if they can rectify, they insisted that it’s not their fault and I should reach out to delivery.com as it’s their fault drove back to the restaurant to see if I can clear up the disconnect between the site vs. what I received restaurant insists it’s not their fault and I should figure it out with delivery.com. returned the food back to restaurant untouched called delivery.com to rectify, asked for refund as I didn’t get what I ordered. One of the best Asian restaurant I had ever eaten in Queens. What make this different than any other Asian restaurant is its' Hong Kong styled (Chinese) cuisines with an added touch of Malaysian accents. I had the curried beef stew with potatoes over chow fun noodles soup and my friend had the beef stew over noodle soup. She had been raving about this place for months.
