Hugo Ace Barber Shop — Local services in New York

I recently moved to Jackson Heights and was in search of a barber in the neighborhood. After doing some research on Google Maps, I decided to give Hugo a try after reading all the favorable reviews + his responses to each one. I definitely was not disappointed and got one of the best haircuts I've had in a while. Hugo was really laid back and nice. I showed him some reference pics on what I wanted and he did exactly what I hoped for. He really took the time to make sure everything looked great and blended which I really appreciated as lots of other barber shops try to rush and get you out of their chair as fast as possible. It's on the second floor. There were two barbers when we walked in and one of them already had a customer. We were lucky because after the barber started working on my husband, several other customers came and would either wait or would come back in a few minutes. It's super clean and the music they play is nice and upbeat. My husband's barber was super meticulous and made sure to work carefully. The haircut my husband had was super fresh! The price is really good and the quality is even better. Highly recommend...

Hugo is literally Mr. Scissors! His technique is amazing! My husband has been going to him since he was located in Manhattan, and has been his client for 14 years. I enjoy watching him cut my husband’s hair with the scissors. He is not the traditional barber. He is highly skilled and I am glad that we have a barber of such caliber in the neighborhood.
