I used to love this place when it was part of Cositas Ricas however, after going there today for my beloved buñuelos I am highly disgusted and disappointed. I went in there and ask if they had a menu. The person I asked did not understand what I said at all and had to ask someone else who also could not understand them finally someone understood and they said no which I find highly unusual as they’re a bakery and should have a menu of some kind! I then asked about their oatmeal frappe that was advertised on the wall and again she didn’t understand what I said. I said does anyone speak English here and they said no they then attempted to get someone who spoke English. What I was disgusted about is the fact that they can’t speak English at all!! This is a place of business in a country where English is spoken. Although it is not the “official language” it is the main language spoken and taught in schools etc... how are people who do not speak Spanish supposed to order?!! I speak Spanish fluently but refused to order in Spanish out of the pure shock and disgust that they could not speak English at all and expected everyone that entered to speak Spanish! I said to them what if the person speaks a completely different language like Chinese or Russian what’s gonna happen then they can’t order?!!! They should just have a sign on the window saying “Spanish speakers only or people of Latino origin only!” Oh no but they wouldn’t be able to do that because that’s discrimination right ?! Ah but they are discriminating by only hiring people who speak Spanish only! It’s a shame because they’re baked...

I have always enjoyed eating at this coffee shop and I believe they have the best coffee in queens and I been on a quest for the blend for years (lol). This was the coffee shop that took me away from Starbucks. They’re always inviting and warm even when the line is out the door. They make an attempt to accommodate every seating situation. They even have a line Director to keep the pace and respect of waiting customers by keeping no-line jumping policy as strict as possible. It’s one or the best mom and pop shops around and Everytime a I have a visitor I take them to Pecoshitas—and they’re immediately blown away! The ambiance, the love of culture (and understanding and helpful assisting me in speaking correct sentences in Spanish when ordering food). I love everything about this place. They understand that people work hard for their money and Pecoshitas puts in the effort to showcase the best representation of their products to the public which demonstrates that they not only have respect for their customers but takes in personal pride in what they do. When you walk in the door you can see it and feel the love and pride.

…In fact I’m heading over...

Unprofessional! All great over the phone, clarified with repeat back. Pick up was scheduled, yet they kept me waiting, when I asked the girl#2 to check on the girl#1 who went to check on the cake like 10 min ago, she told me to go to the back & wait to see her. 😱 Meanwhile no one was on line & was by the cashier doing nothing. I'm 15 min in by now, my car is parked illegally as I'm watching my car not to get a ticket, lady #3 mops over my feet. 🤨I say "wow" she says she didn't mop over my feet & I say "right, so now I'm just making it up", she was too close for comfort & indeed noted over my feet...ugh... The cake had an error, they didn't write Dr. for doctor, they wrote D.R & lady#1, as she saying it's the way it was written she's showing me the receipt that's written Dr. !!!! Then wouldn't fix it! I moved the .(period) myself.

Too much of a hassle to deal with such unprofessional people, which is sad because they all sucked & the cake was good but not out of...

This Colombian cafe offers a wide variety of baked goods and snacks. I visited them for the first time a few weeks ago. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the mouth-watering smell of melted butter and sugar. The pera caught my eye, with its bright pink color and dessicated coconuts which I love. I'll be honest and say that ordering was a bit of a challenge for me, as the place was noisy and the employee who helped me primarily spoke Spanish, which I'm not even close to being fluent in. Luckily, a fellow customer was happy to help out and the employee was friendly and patient. I learned that pera is a pastry that is filled with guava paste, and coated with red syrup and dessicated coconuts. I enjoyed it. It was a pretty good size and the price was decent. They have many other items under $3 too.

ALL THE BREAD is made FRESH DAILY. The COFFEE is FRESHLY GROUND infront of you and served to your desire. The ladies are all very delightful and respectful, with great attitudes even when its as busy as a train station on rush hour... they get that line of customers moving.. their desserts are well authentically made and delicious... this is a great coffee shop to visit... i go here atleast once a week... its a must while in the area... ICED COFFEE is exquisite

I was standing right in front of this worker for about 2 minutes and she completely ignored me. I was just there to order a Soda. Then she looks to the left and looked at another customer and took them first. She started calling me names to her co workers when I started walking away. This is unacceptable because you come to a bakery to eat breakfast and leave with a headache because the workers have horrible customer service.
