I was eager to support a local, latina-owned business, so I booked a facial at this location. The location was small but clean, however, much too warm. I was slightly put off while waiting that the owner (which I know is the owner based off the photos online) didn't even greet me as a customer especially as this was my first time at the location. When it was time, the young lady who was my aesthetician did not ask me any questions about my current skincare, if this was my first time nor did she provide any information on the products she was using during the course of the facial. She was, however, very gentle in the application of the products. I became quite uncomfortable as my back was getting sore as they did not supply a pillow/towel for underneath my legs, as in other places I have frequented. At the end of the facial, the lady asked if I needed a wet towel to wipe my face, which I found odd. When I left, I noticed I still had a lot of dried up patches on my face as a result of the products. I have never left a facial appointment with anything less than a dewy/soft result. During the facial, regardless of the terrycloth headband, some product seeped through into my hair which I didn't think anything of, until later that afternoon when I found dried up clunks of product stuck in my scalp and hair.

In addition, I know this business heavily promotes their eyelash services, therefore, I have reservations about it promoting facial services when there's shared space with eyelash services that may not promote a relaxing...

My usual lash tech for many years is currently on maternity leave and I was able to find this super cute spot in the neighborhood to get a new set done! I always love supporting small businesses in Queens, especially women-owned! Nancy did my lashes and she is so skilled, gentle, and sweet! I’ve gotten lashes done for the longest time and usually get volume cat eye lashes - I love them fluffy too yet natural. Given that I’m starting with someone new, it’s always a nervous feeling after working with someone else for so long.

I saw that this salon offered mega volume and I wanted to give it a try! Nancy did amazing with giving me all the fluff and I hardly teared up in my first session with her! (My eyes are super sensitive, so that speaks volumes to how wonderful she is!). However, I realized that the mega volume lashes were way too dramatic for me and more intense than what I’m used to.

I gave it 24 hours and reached out to see if there was a way to remove any lashes that made me feel uncomfortable and to make them appear less intense and more softer. Nancy was so accommodating and understanding, she took her time with me and did her best to listen to my requests and implement other ways to make them more softer. After the tweaks were made, I really love them and feel soooo much better!!! :) I’m so happy to have met Nancy and that it’s walkable from my home. Definitely come and give this...

Look for another salon. I’ve been here a few times when I first started getting lash extensions and my last visit will remain my very last. I got my lashes done as an East Asian with monolids so the tech messed up a bit (which is fine, a lot of techs don’t have experience with monolids), and so I came back the next morning to fix it and the manager charged me about $15. Chasing a quick buck. Like girl the tech literally didn’t know what she was doing and who charges for a fix up the following morning of the first lash job? It’s just very greedy and messed up, not about the money but the morals. Felt like she just wanted to scam me because I carry myself well so she thought I had more $ to spare on her little company and also was new to lash extensions. Made me not wanna even come back and be around such energy. I tried not to judge it by the area but honestly seems like they’re just using aliexpress type items and selling the job for way more. Now that I look back, the times I’ve done my lashes at this salon before, the fall out was insane. There was always an unusual amount of lashes falling out. I now do my lashes in a nice salon in the city right on 5th Ave by Asian women of all ethnicities there and it’s well worth it.
