I gave Kohl's on Staten Island 4 stars 🌟 only due to their sky high prices in the Sephora section. The only reason I went to Kohl's was to mainly go to Sephora area because I had a couple of gift cards that were making a hole in an envelope. I need Amika shampoo and conditioner and was extremely pleased that I didn't have to order my usual online. Otherwise, everything in the Sephora area was so Way Over Priced! As I already knew the prices of what I was getting, when I looked at other products I had in mind OMG!!
I looked at this other set if shampoo & conditioner set I was interested in and @ $52 for a not even 13 oz bottle of each. Wow!! I also, looked at colognes I needed to buy as a birthday gift for a friend. Once again, OMG!!! I knew I could of went online and looked around and found it for at least $30-$40 cheaper. I know, then why didn't I just do that?? I don't know, I basically just wanted to get it out of the way. Next time ,I'll just be going back to that Sephora for my Amika shampoo and conditioner Only.
Otherwise, everything else was really very pleasant. I brought my mother a gift for Mother's Day and when I checked out. It was on sale, BONUS!! Check out was so fast I couldn't believe it. I was self checked out in under 3 mins. Awesome Sauce!!
I'll also add that kohl's has made quite a few new features to the store. Which looks great. Very organized, clean and now I can actually find everything I need too. My experience was to me lemme say an 80/20.
Enjoy your shopping ladies!!! Get...
Read moreThis review is for the pickup service at this particular store. Recently my wife was with me and decided she wanted to try a few things from the store, they didn't have the three items in her size...so when we got home later she decided to order online but opted for the store pickup because we were going away on the following weekend. After 5 days or so she got a notification that the items were in the store via email. The following day after work and dinner we drive to the store...after handing the lady her items receipt the lady disappeared into the back room 20 minutes later another guy tells us she is still looking for the items ..after another ten minutes the guy approaches us and says he's sorry but they cant find any of the items and that if we'd like to wait hell send someone around the store to see what items they have in stock...he made sure to mentioned he had no idea if they had 1-2-3 or none of the items in stock and that it was a particularly busy week for them....hum we were just there a week ago and they didn't have the items in stock so...I made a point to let him know that this experience was becoming very unpleasant and that the store traffic wasn't our problem...I mean give me a break why have a pickup if the items arent there to be picked up. Wasted a lot of time...
Read moreI went to Kohl's last night 12/21/22 to buy some last minute presents. I've been struggling financially and have been overwhelmed and stressed out trying to buy presents for my kids, as I'm sure everyone is. But yesterday I was in a bad mindset and my card had gotten declined, which was the last straw of my emotional state and it caused me to burst out in tears while trying to pay for my order. The cashier I had was so kind to me and showed real compassion for my mental state. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name and can't find it on the receipt. But I hope she sees this. She didn't have to stop and take the time to show me kindness, especially with a line wrapped around the store. But she did. And it really meant everything to me. Sometimes we forget that showing kindness is a free gift to people during the Holidays and she was the right person for me at the time I needed it the most. I'll never forget that moment of kindness from her and I hope she sees this and knows how thankful I am. Merry...
