About a year ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with a rare disease that progressed rapidly and took her from us way too soon. While she was in hospital and, later, hospice I looked after her two little pooches and adopted them when she passed away. After trial and error with different groomers, I came across Beryl. She is amazing. She's groomed my little Zoe and Abigail about four times now and they always turn out looking sooooo cute. What's more, not only is Beryl a talented groomer, she's also a very patient, gentle, and nurturing one. She always treats Abi and ZoZo with such tender care. Which, let me tell you, isn't an easy task. lol. Zoe is a little Havanese diva who quickly gets bored of the primping process and starts to sit on her bum after 5 minutes. And Abigail... well, she's a very neurotic little mixed dog who just hates mani-pedis. But Beryl is always gets the job done. 5 stars all around. I am so grateful to have found her. If you're looking for an all-star groomer, Beryl is your...
Read moreBeryl is a dream come true! I have a 7-year old Havanese who was a rescue and doesnât welcome strangers in his house đ The first groomer I found did not work out. She wanted to run half way through. Needless mention that he hid under the bed upon her arrival and barked at her all the way through. Finding Beryl has changed both my and Jackâs lives. While he doesnât love being handled he didnât run away which was a first! Kept sniffing Beryl and let her groom him. She is so patient, kind and sensitive towards Jack that any animal would respond in kind. But he is temperamental đś She loves animals and does a fantastic job! Jack has a tail again! What I also love about Beryl is that she takes her time understanding and learning as much as possible about Jack, and works alongside you. I highly recommend Beryl for those looking not only for an excellent groomer, but a committed and trustworthy partner for your pet. Jack and I...

Instead, Beryl was rough, she hurt him, and she shaved him nearly to his skin just at the start of winter. Double coated dogs like this are never supposed to be shaved to their undercoats, especially with cold weather coming. My dog is very gentle but she terrified him. I would never recommend her services.
She came to our apartment twice. The first time she was just ok, but the second time I actually stopped her and asked her to just leave. She was paid but I will never call her again. It has been several months now and I doubt my dogâs beautiful top coat will ever...
