I was walking with my wife recently and happened upon Lukure. If there is one area where I allow myself a luxury, it s my shoes. My wife is from Italy and we travel there often and as a result I buy most of my shoes there. I usually go for Bruno Magli or Pollini shoes. Lukure shoes caught my eye , and the staff was helpful so I thought I d give them a try. The manager explained where the shoes were made, the selected leathers , and how thier shoes are ergonomically designed, to be honest I was skeptical at first. But when I tried them on , I was pretty amazed. They were as comfortable as any other pair of shoes I had bought and looked very cool. I m accustomed to more classic designs , but these shoes had a classic yet contemporary appeal. I bought the Vaughn style and Charles. I know the shoes are not for everyone , they can run a bit pricey but if i m going to be walking around in a pair of shoes all day I want them to look good and feel better...these shoes really fit the bill. I m considering having the made to order s next ....I ve had the pair a few weeks now and I can’t count how many people have commented on my shoes...

I happened upon this little shoe store when I was in the neighborhood several years back and couldn't resist trying on a pair of hikers. The shoes were incredibly well made and comfortable, but I was also impressed with how attentive and unpretentious the staff were. They helped me with multiple styles and sizes, but also gave me plenty of time to decide- no high pressure sales!
