lululemon — Local services in New York

I went to this store at around 5:45-6:00pm on 10/15/2025 and all of the people working there were SO SWEET!!! There were three women and a gentleman who were incredibly kind and helpful the whole time I was there. I literally have never had such a positive experience at a store and I wish I had gotten all their names (one of them was Molly - but if you were working at this time you know who you are and I hope management does, too!). I was exchanging two pairs of shorts and they made the whole process so easy. They were so knowledgeable about the items in stock and offered alternatives to what I was looking for since one of the items I wanted was sold out. They also knew all about the Amex promotion I was using at the time and ensured I would get the benefits. After a long day of work, it was really heartwarming to be helped but such nice people! I truly love Lululemon shorts — the fabric, the fit, and the overall look are great. However, I have to say the rubber seam in the center is very uncomfortable. It creates a pushing sensation that makes it hard to enjoy wearing them.

I originally thought it was a sizing issue, so I went from a Small to a Medium this year, but the problem remains. It’s clear now that the issue isn’t the size — it’s the design, specifically the rubber piece in the center.

Unfortunately, I’ve experienced this with two different shorts, and although I reached out to the team at the Grand Central store, they refused to let me return them because they had already been worn.

We were a family of three buying a holiday gift. It was insanely busy, yet Dylan took a very personal approach and helped us out with immense patience and personal attention.

He helped hunt for sizes and when some styles were available, tried to be as helpful by approximating using other similar items.

If it weren't for Dylan, I would've left exhausted and intimidated by the holiday rush. Now I own a very memorable jacket :)
