I am getting married in October and this summer I went through the process of shopping for my wedding suit. This was my first time ever shopping for a custom suit, and to be honest the whole process was a bit overwhelming for me because there were just so many options! Before I went to Enzos I tried about 3 other stores. In those stores I felt as though they were just trying to make a quick sale. It felt like I was being rushed, and I didn't really have the sense of collaboration I was looking for in terms of building my look for my wedding. Eventually, I went to Enzos. And I am SO glad that I did. I met with Jeremy Ocasio, and he HOOKED. ME. UP. I started with the free consultation where he went over the whole entire process of building the look and ordering the suit, etc. Then I went in a second time for my 'new client order'. I have to say... from DAY 1 at Enzos, that feeling I had previously of being rushed in the other stores was NON-EXISTANT. Jeremy sat me down, he gave me wine, he listened to me, and he was willing to go through ALL of the options for every single last detail of my suit. In general, it felt like he was doing WAY more than just making a sale. He actually cared about my happiness, and he actually wanted me to look my best on my wedding day. I felt bad because it took me a really long time to decide on what material I wanted to choose for my suit. But Jeremy was extremely patient, and he was willing to sit with me for as long as it took.He approached the whole entire process with an extreme amount of enthusiasm, and I am so incredibly grateful. Lastly, when I tried on the suit... his attention to detail really came through. He didn't just say "that looks great" and try to scoot me out the door. Instead... he examined every inch of the outfit. He saw a few things that could be improved upon... and he put in a new order for a few alterations on my pants, as well as my two dress shirts. They were tiny adjustments.. but man you can really see the difference! Jeremy clearly knows what he is talking about. And he clearly has a great sense of style. I don't think I could've picked anyone better for this experience. Definitely book an appointment with Jeremy if you can! But I'm sure everyone at Enzos is a superstar if they are anything...
Read moreI first came to Enzo to get a tuxedo for my wedding, about eighteen months ago. I figured a tux would be a good investment, and I wanted to have it customized so I'd look my best on the big day. After doing some online research, I decided to give the folks at Enzo a shot. I was not disappointed, and I've been a regular customer since.
I was scheduled to have an appointment with Jeremy, and the experience was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The Enzo showroom is beautiful, with lots of space and amenities. I am a big fan of the espresso machine and the scotch, depending on my mood. Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and has a great sense of style. He brings simplicity and practicality to some very complicated wardrobe decisions, and if you pay attention close enough, you'll learn a thing or two. Jeremy will make you feel very comfortable during your appointment with him, as he takes extra time with you to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have. After choosing the style and customization for my tux, I was able to come back for the fitting once it was ready.
Needless to say, my wedding tuxedo came out perfect, and I've decided to continue adding to my wardrobe at Enzo. I've been back around ten times now to purchase custom fit shirts, blazers, and suits. I've brought in several clients of mine as well, as it makes for a good client event. Everything I get from Enzo comes out perfect; the feel, the look, and the quality/durability. Jeremy is always able to make useful recommendations for my wardrobe, and I trust him 100%. Enzo is the best option for custom men's clothing in...
Read moreHigh maintenance groom here -- for my July bachelor party, I organized a fitting at Enzo Custom for my eight "Best Men" (i.e. groomsmen) at the Madison Avenue location. From day 1, I posed problems--I asked to stop by early with some champagne, glasses, napkins, and signage. I asked for 9 guys to be spread across only two tailors, so that everyone could be together. I asked for custom patches to be affixed to their blazers and for their nicknames to be printed under the blazer's collar.
What's more, over the next 5.5 months (i.e. the last 5.5 months), I peppered Enzo Custom with question-after-question--can you ship some of the finished tuxedos to the DC location? Can you hold some at Madison Avenue? Can you ship others to my friends' personal addresses?
Also, can we order some other attire... just to have?
This year, I sent dozens of emails and text messages to Enzo Custom. But specifically, one person bore the brunt of it all: Enzo Custom clothier Rachel Hammel. Through it all, Rachel handled herself with extraordinary class, boasting exceptional knowledge, great energy, and a candid approach to fashion that made each visit enjoyable. Rachel was not afraid to respectfully express her opinion, even if it was not what I wanted to hear, ha. What's more, Rachel has gone above-and-beyond for our group--organizing fittings in different cities, dealing my musings and questions, and advocating for our group internally when struggles arose.
Thank you for making this a fantastic experience, Rachel & Enzo Custom. I cannot wait for my wedding... and for my...
