Hidden Gem! I stumbled upon this store on the way to Grand Central..I started browsing & was gently approached by the striking Sales Associate Art who made me feel like a Lady helping me mix & match.

To my Surprise I then received VIP treatment from Salvatore who passionately whipped an outfit together noting my grá for red. His knowledge was like something I’ve NEVER EVER experienced in my 20 + years of shopping in NY.I had a personal shopping appointment for a special occasion booked some time back & it hasn’t a look in on Mad Under..

Salvatore unknown to himself portrayed his knowledge of Fabric in such a manner that made me think twice. I often felt the weight when trying on a coat for warmth.He explained the difference between wool & cashmere I understood after wearing for a while how this exquisite weightless coat warmed me up quickly.

He paired a coat for me with a bag & pointed out the stitching & tailored detail compared to one I had my eye on. I had no intention to shop didn’t know where I’d stumbled into but was made feel like a Woman wearing something especially tailored for me.

After hearing it was a milestone Birthday he offered a Complimentary silk scarf to my purchase. As I said I had no intention of shopping I came back today to purchase.

Everything was packed away Beautifully & neatly.I was greeted at the door again by the Beautiful Man from Morocco who shared his passion for design & flowy fabrics from his native home which in his opinion was an inspiration to one of the designers in the store…

I’ve shopped at all the Outlets looking for bargain s just for the sake of a label but the older & wiser I am as I explained to Art less in the label department is more for me now…

I’ve been so let down not experiencing endorphins being released after a high from shopping because I felt seeing theses expensive labels hitting the floors ,stomped on & on wiry hangers making me question it’s worth!!

My mind & eyes have experienced a new Awakening!!!

I have in fact found a Fabulous New place to shop and be transported to the days when clothing was respected to the days of Jackie O.

The only regret I have is feeling a bit embarrassed as I thought it was a typical outlet & didn’t realize I was in the Company of Elite Fashion personal.

When in fact I experienced conversation with three wonderful men over the past 2 visits each portrayed their joy for being a part of this Wonderful service...

I’ve attended several 260 Sample and Eclipse sales before, and usually, the experience is solid. Unfortunately, this event with Mad Under was the exception.

I arrived at 10:00 AM, well in advance of the 11:00 AM opening. However, the store didn’t actually start letting people in until 11:20 AM. To make matters worse, there are people that talk to the staff at the front were allowed to enter. There were also instances where individuals walked up to someone in line, inquired about the event, and basically just cut in line—frustrating to say the least.

As for the sale itself, the advertised brands were a major draw for us, but the actual selection didn’t live up to expectations. We were hoping to find a range of Burberry items, especially coats, but all we found was a half-rack of Burberry shirts—only two styles, and less than ten shirts in total. There was also a small selection of Off-White clothing, but that was it.

What took up a significant portion of the store was Manuela Conti coats and other brands, which felt like a bait-and-switch compared to the brands advertised. The range of advertised items was very limited.

There were numerous security staff on the floors, but when it came to finding out prices, no one had clear information. A few items had price label on the rack, but for others, I was told that Loro Piana items were 75% off the listed price, while Sergio Rossi items were priced as marked.
