Replying to @hameenaaa If you’re looking for a 10/10 dining experience that feels like a little luxury in Midtown, Bucatini delivers. The interiors are breathtaking, the plates are crafted to perfection, and with it being one of the city’s newest gems, you’ll want to secure a reservation before the word gets out. #forthegirls #forthegirlies #nyclife #nycrestaurants #thingstodoinnyc New restaurant in New York City, Bucatini Restaurant midtown NYC

The food was delicious, and the servers were friendly, but the place was extremely disorganized. I went for lunch with my sister, and so many different staff members came to our table that I started wondering what the point of having an assigned server was. I ended up ordering drinks from one server and food from another. When I asked for the check, AND another server took my card, and I had to wait about 15 minutes to get the bill back. It was a lunch time but another group that came in after us paid and left before we did. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked for my card and the check again, and a completely new server brought it over. My sister and I had ordered the $30 “Squid Ink Linguine” and “Italian Sausage Risotto” from the specials menu, but the receipt listed them at $38 each, and even included an octopus dish we never ordered. Fixing that mistake took another 10 minutes, AND another server brought us the revised bill. When I received the check, I clearly said we wouldn’t be having coffee or dessert, but ANOTHER staff member still came by and put dessert menus on our table. At that point, I felt the service level was worse than McDonald’s. Considering this restaurant isn’t cheap, I was shocked at how chaotic the service was. Instead of focusing only on appearances, they really need to organize their internal systems and improve communication among the staff. I will not be returning. Quiz: Guess how many different servers came to my table 😂

We were recommended to try Bucatini in New York City, and it truly went above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the incredible atmosphere — a perfect balance of warmth, style, and sophistication that immediately makes you feel welcome yet special. The food was nothing short of sublime. Every dish we tasted reflected an impressive attention to detail, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that transported us straight to Italy. Each plate was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced, making the whole meal feel like a carefully curated experience rather than just dinner. What truly elevated our visit, however, was the outstanding service. Chef Guto, along with Diego and Eduardo, went out of their way to make sure every detail was flawless. Their kindness, professionalism, and passion for hospitality created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and unforgettable. This wasn’t just a meal — it was a remarkable culinary experience. I’m leaving Bucatini with one of the best gastronomic memories I’ve had in New York City, and I can’t wait to return.

A Truly Spectacular Dining Experience at Bucatini in NYC

I had the pleasure of dining at Bucatini on my last day in New York City, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty — the manager and hostess attended to me and my friend with warmth, grace, and genuine care that made us feel truly special.

It’s a newish resturant and the ambiance is absolutely perfect — elegant yet inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The risotto, in particular, was one of the best I’ve tasted in a long while — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a delight, a testament to the chef’s mastery and passion for quality.

The wine list is to die for — a curated selection that perfectly complements each dish, adding to the overall excellence of the meal. Service was regal — attentive without being intrusive, making me feel truly valued throughout the evening.

Bucatini is now a spot I will be returning to again and again while in NYC. It’s a culinary jewel that combines outstanding food, impeccable service, and a lovely ambiance — a truly memorable dining experience I can't recommend enough.

Thank you, Bucatini, for making my last night in NYC so special. I look forward to many...
