I have never experienced this sort of level of unprofessionalism, unethical or aggression from someone who is a "Medical Director" of a pediatric clinic. Dr. Andrea Rich burst into the room and began her aggressive approach towards myself and my 3 year old and made her cry as she began to demand that she do an annual physical on her although she had one done in May. She than went on to say that even if she doesn't do a physical it's her policy to file the visit with medicaid as an annual physical. Not only is that MEDICAID FRAUD but I would be responsible for that bill and will not allow that to happen. The minute she came in aggressive I began recording her unethical threats of filing fraudulent claims to medicaid but I also have her recorded lying to her administrator claiming she never said it. I'm not sure if they lady is ready to retire but she should be forced to leave pediatrics when she is incapable of conducting herself appropriately in front of children. My daughter who is three was scared of her when we left. I hope this doctor isn't going through a mental health crisis and still seeing patients. She was very unstable today and should be held accountable. I have emailed the fraud department of medicaid of the video of her behaviors and threats as well as will be reporting her to the medical board. Please get her some help before she...
Read moreI am 75 years old and a long time patient of Dr. Gover. I am presently in florida and receiving care for a different ailment at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Gover was aware of my predicament and did not seem to be bothered by my arrangement and I would see her while in New York. Recently my medication provider told me that they were not receiving replies to their requests for my medication. After several calls and hours on hold, I was told that Dr. Gover was no longer at that location. I advised the person on the phone that I was completely out of medication for my diabetes, and other medications. I was assigned another doctor for a six week appointment, however, I was advised that my medication prescriptions would be withheld until after the appointment 6 weeks away. If I should die because of my medication being held hostage for a visit fee I just want the world to know about the lack of humanity at Montefiore clinic. I have had the same prescriptions and the same strengths for the past 5 years. What passes for medical care in some neighborhoods now days is more a monetary shakedown and the Hippocratic Oath are just...
Read moreI grew up going to this place but I will no longer be a patient there. The staff is rude and lousy. When you first walk in they’re pre-screening you in the middle of the lobby shouting all of your personal business. The nurse that’s supposed to take your temperature when you first come in doesn’t even give you a heads up she just started walking towards me TELLING me after she was already in the process of the action that she was taking my temperature. My appointment felt rushed and I got their early and wasn’t seen until almost an hour after my appointment time. I don’t know if common sense and professionalism went out the window with Covid but their customer service has gotten worst over the years and I transferred to another clinic. They have...
