I really dislike leaving a negative review but I would have a very hard time recommending this company for the following reasons: 1. My first scheduled appointment was a No-Show. I had to call the office to inquire if someone would be coming. We ended up having to reschedule. 2. There was zero follow up or confirmation for my next appointment, I had to call the office again to see if someone would be coming. 3. Upon completing the job, my bathroom and surrounding areas of my apartment were in a complete state of disarray. Paint chips, and dust everywhere and were not cleaned up at all (outside of my bathroom) 4. The instructions for post-care that were given were crumpled and nearly illegible. 5. It has been over 24 hours and the paint is still not totally dry, I'm assuming my shower will not be usable for a few more days which was not communicated to me. 6. While I appreciate how throughly everything was taped, there were still a few areas missed and paint on my sink. Overall, I would hope that New Superior improves their customer communication (appointment confirmation, providing direction to customers post-appointment, updating instructions which are not legible). Additionally, my apartment was left in a total mess (specifically paint chips everywhere) and I would hope that they would be responsible for cleaning that to the best of their ability. My technician was quiet and seemed kind. He also did a good job taping.

Again, this company is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. There are numerous customer complaints which valadates the level of incompetency I received from this company. Their painter is required to turn off the shower/tub water valve whether or not he has a background in plumbing. Its simple, he mistakenly turned off the toilet valve instead of the shower valve which resulted in damage to the freshly glazed tub. Upon noticing the damage, I immediately contacted the secretary via telephone. She disclosed that the repair would be covered under warranty...she also sent an email reiterating our phone conversation. A week later while attempting to schedule an appointment to repair the damages, she told me it was no longer covered under warranty, and in order for them to proceed I had to pay them over $800. THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH THE HASSEL OR THE MONEY. There are so many small businesses across the tri-state, do yourself a favor and choose wisely. Feel free to read through all of the google reviews from previous customers to confirm the accuracy of my google review.

I want to dissuade others from having to waste time and money. The tub and tile looked great for a few months. After that, it started bubbling and peeling off. I contacted the company. The customer service contact told me that the tub would be free of charge, since it was less than a year since the work was done. But the toiler paper holder would cost 35.00 to redo. I asked him if I could still use the bathroom. He said the tub couldn't be used for 24 hours after reglazing. This was important information because I only have one bathroom. I called him the day the work was scheduled. I wanted to confirm that i could use the rest of the bathroom. "Are you cancelling now?" he said. I said I'm asking for confirmation about the bathroom. "This is your third time doing this, don't you know already!" He said. Not sure who has had to endure this three times, but it wasn't me. Then he said, "You can use the bathroom, but if dust particles get into the tub from moving around in there, we are not responsible for additional work." This was news to me. I would have arranged to stay elsewhere. I only have one bathroom. He then said that there would be a 25.00 cancellation fee. Later that night, in a nasty, accusatory email, the fee for cancelling had gone up to 35.00. I refuse to pay a price for " cancelling." I refuse to be treated like a petulant child. And I have no confidence in the product that last only a few months. I have decided to pay another service to do the work. I hope that you do as well.

Response to his response I don't live in Manhattan, I'm not rich. And I don't usually write reviews. I wrote this one after much thought.

I received a response for my review. I was referred to as a "privileged person." I am not sure how he determined that I am privileged. Perhaps that comment says more about him, than it does me. I do live in a perfectly nice 1960's apartment house in Brooklyn. I work for myself. I lost money the day they did the work the first time, because I see clients at home. I had to stay at a friends apartment. They did the wall tile and tub at that time. I cancelled my work again to have them come the second time, which was really hard on me financially. I have the emails he sent prior to the second job. Each one says " the tub cannot be used for 24 hours." So, I assumed that I could use the rest of the bathroom. At least I wouldn't have to leave again. And perhaps i could see some clients when the job was done. But then I called the day of the work to confirm that I could use the rest of the bathroom. That is when he told me that dust particles may get into the tub if you are using the bathroom. And the company will not be responsible for doing more work if that happens. I was really upset because I could not recoup the finical losses I incurred for taking that day off. Had I known about this possibility, I would have scheduled the work when I had somewhere else to stay.

I'll let the consumer decide... Would I cancel an appointment to have necessary work redone, having already canceled my own work that day, (another financial hit for a self employed person), and for no reason at all cancel the...

I had my bath tub refinished on January 17th 2020. It started to chip on the back end of the tub. I provided pictures to him. I called the owner and was told that I am not under warranty because the last time he was at my location was back in 2017. I presented pictures of the bath tub and a copy of the receipt that shows the date of service and the amount I paid.. He then told me he would refinish my bathtub again for $225. I would think twice about using this company, it might look pretty the first week, but don

t right reviews: Seems like this is not the first time, read through the reviews: Dimitris Robokos: the guy who came did a good job. A couple weeks later I noticed that he missed a couple of tiny spots. When I called them to address the issue they asked for more money! Very dissatisfied with the way they support their service. Their warranty is only good for a day or two. After that you need to spend more money to get them to your house. If you hire them make sure you check everything before the guy leaves your place. Melanie Marcial: To be fair they were very nice and reasonably priced. BUUUUT....my initial appointment had to be rescheduled as the technician was sick. They rescheduled me for later the same week. I found out the day of the rescheduled appointment that they cancelled the appointment b/c I didn't confirm the day before!!! I was LIVID since it was a confirmed reschedule from the same week. It has been a great inconvenience since I had already emptied out my bathroom and arranged petsitting. I decided not to do business with them. For people who are going to use this service. Please read their response and notice they are going to find any excuse not to honor their warranty. Just like the other customer, they are requesting more money to fix their mistakes.
