New Top Myras Nail — Local services in New York

My experience at Top Myra Nail Salon located at 873 E. Tremont Ave, was a total nightmare. I decide to get my eyebrows waxed at this salon. The lady waxing eyebrows there on that day not only removed the hair from my eyebrow, but she peeled off my skin along with it. This lady peeled skin from the upper and the lower parts of my eyebrows. I woke up saturday morning to find skabs as i looked into mirrior, i was horrified. When i went back on sunday to the salon to speak to Myra (the owner) expecting of course an apology, some sympathy and or maybe some type of complementary service, what i recieved from the owner was not at all welcoming. Myra stated that she thinks that i must have went somewhere else to get my eyebrows waxed..... I was baffled, when i asked her to please review the video tapes to confirm that i was indeed there with my child on that date and time, Myra then stated that the video camera's are not working in the day time. I then asked Myra to please call the lady that did the work on me that day, because i did not see her working at this time. Myra lied to me and stated that there was no one else working that day besides the employees i see working there at that very moment. Clearly Myra has something to hide. I believe the lady that waxed my eyebrows was covering someones shift that day and obviously had no idea what she was doing. I still have the skabs right now as im writing this review. I am in my home, too embarrassed to even go outside, well at least untill this is horrible nightmare goes away. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write this review and to warn others...

I shoulda listened to all the other reviews! The wait here is REDICULOUSLY LONG. My homegirl & I went for 1st time there to get pedi's. Idk why I gnored the many reviews stating ppl's dislikes about the service & wait times & getting skipped in line etc. It was soo hot out n the place was close to her house. Boy did we pay for bein lazy to walk elsewhere!

We signed the book & were told about 1/2hr. to 40mins wait. There was only 3-4 ppl ahead, yet they kept putting others in the chairs in btwn. so by the time we left, OVER 4 HRS. OF OUR LIVES WAS ERASED.

Also since gel/UV polish is the hot thing right now, the choices in "regular" colors is nxt 2 nothin! Never been anywhere b4 this that just let all colors run out or get old. Bad ventilation and theu don't tell u about any extra charges until ur half-way thru. I REALLY dont like that typa stuff. Dont like feeling as if im bein conned!! Especially since I clearly asked about prices 2x's b4 signing in, grrrrr. Ppl, dont ignore ur gut & the reviews- majority rules...

They all work super slow! And the place is DIRTY. I sat down in the back area to wait for my turn in getting a pedicure. When I noticed that behind the pedicure station there was nothing but dust. They use no type of foot products just soaftsoap hand liquid soap for your feet. And they use the same soap to wash the foot sink. There was mosquitos all over the place. What made me get up and walk out was when she finished her clients pedicure and never washed the sink and had the next person soak her foot in the bowl. I got up and bounced. If you don't want to catch a major case of fungus or an infection don't come here...
