I went to the ER on 16th August 10.30 am.I am 18 weeks pregnant. I was in the waiting room for about 9 hours. When I was trying to ask the nurse about the list she was rude to me and said "step back we are with another patient". I started crying because of her behaviour. After that I didnât have courage to talk to her agin. I sent my husband then they checked the system and told me if I left the waiting area. I replied no. The whole time I was in the waiting room. Then I heard them talking to each other that another 5 to 6 people were also kicked out of the system. Then they told me to reregistered, then another nurse came and said I donât have to reregister and sent me inside.
I was in ED south room S125. This room didnât have any beds only la-z-boy recliners. After an hour of going inside the nurse took my blood and urine samples. After a few hours dr came to see me. Dr told they are going to do a sonogram. After one hour the nurse came back and gave me two tynanol and saline. I was already exausted. My back was hurting. The bathroom was disgusting. Then, we tried to ask the nurse about the sonogram because itâs been more than 12 hours that we've been in there. She replied that the dr discontinued the sonogram. I was much more afraid because the only reason my OBGYN sent me there was for the sonogram. We didnât have any idea what was going on and the nurse didnât explain anything to us. She was rude to us. We just wanted to know if they are going to do the sonogram. She told us everyone is waiting itâs not only us. I had no idea how someone could be so rude to a pregnant woman who is having an emergency. At that time I lost all my trust for them.
Finally they did the sonogram. But we had to ask for the reports several times. They said blood reports didnât come yet. At 1 O'clock my husband asked about reports to another nurse he checked their system and said no blood was taken so he took my blood again. And gave us the report at 2.30 am and told me to sign the discharge papers. I asked him about the reports he said everything is fine. Then we came back home but I was still bleeding. Then I started googling my sonogram report then I saw in the report that I had marginal placenta previa.
However the nurses didnât explain anything to me.
Overall, they traumatised me. They didn't have any empathy. I became even more sick after coming home. I have PTSD after my experience there. I cried in the hospital straight 3 to 4 hours but no one cared. Please try not to send your...
Read moreI am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the treatment I received at Presbyterian Hospital last night 10 March 2025. I arrived at the emergency room with severe, non-stop tooth pain that felt unbearable. I believed the hospital would provide the urgent care I needed, but instead, I was left waiting for over tow hours without receiving any medical attention.
When I repeatedly asked the nurses when a doctor would see me, their responses were dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. They told me, âYou are not bleeding, so your condition is not that bad.â Such a response was not only disrespectful but also demonstrated a complete disregard for the pain I was experiencing.
Due to their rudeness, humiliation, and neglect, I ultimately passed out from pain and exhaustion in the emergency room. Despite this, the staff/nurses continued to ignore my condition and showed no urgency or concern. When I regained consciousness and asked about my situation, I was again told I would have to wait for a doctor, but no one came to check on me.
Eventually, close to midnight, I was told by the nurses that if I wanted to continue waiting, I could; otherwise, I was free to leave the hospital. The lack of care, disrespect, and complete absence of professionalism left me feeling humiliated, neglected, and traumatized by an experience that was supposed to provide me with urgent care.
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. I would appreciate a formal response explaining why I was treated this way and what measures will be implemented to ensure other patients do not suffer the same mistreatment...
Read moreI have been coming here since it was Booth and this was the worst, unprofessional degrading experience of my life! I thought I was in a third world country! I went by ambulance and placed on the side where all the ambulances came. I was never given a gown, and no one came over to discuss my medications! They withheld my evening medications causing me further harm. I went because I am having shortness of breath, chest pains and my x-rays 2 weeks prior showed an enlarged heart. The tech doing my EKG did so with her ear pods in having a flirty conversation with her partner all the time ignoring me. After hours of waiting to see a Dr. When he finally came and he minimalized my heart condition, because I am a senior with multiple health issues and he couldnât be bothered. When my Drs. saw my x-rays they wanted me to come here since, I would not make it 5 months for my Cardiologist appointment and I needed to see one! With swollen feet and legs they had me walk the entire waiting room to go to all 3 coed bathrooms all having urine on the floor. My shoes and the bottom of my pants were soaked in urine. I asked for a urinal, and they refused me toilet paper! I had to have a CT of my lungs and heart. The CT tech was not wearing a mask and I needed to wait. He wanted to seat me opposite a man vomiting! The Dr. who ordered all my tests never came back he went home when his shift was over! It kept getting worse! This place needs to be shut down. I was refused all medical help, while my tests all indicated I am in congestive heart failure! Run for your life! They will...
