NYC glamour couture is phenomenal!
Okay, so I donât normally do surveys or reviews but I MUST in this case. I need every bride to know the experience that I have had. I came from DC. Believe it or not DMV wedding dress shopping SUCKS! I am a COVID bride (Meaning- trying to muddle through this wedding planning during an outbreak). Being a COVID bride and is not easy. MANY OTHER BRIDAL STORES are charging a non-refundable 75-100$ just for a first time fitting. They are also ONLY allowing you, 1 person, to accompany you which truly takes the joy out of this celebration. Then when you arrive you're only allowed to try on 3-4 dresses. It is very disheartening.

But when I came to NYC GLAMOR COUTURE, everything changed. Each dress I tried on was amazing!!!!!!!!!! There was not one dress I tried on that I did not love. Even my mom was confused we spent almost an hour trying to figure out which dress was " THE dress ". Thatâs how amazing this store is!! Their sense of fashion and knowledge of trends is through the roof!!!! They have amazing contractors from Paris, Dubai, Lebanon, Jordan, Albania, Cairo! Their dresses are TOP OF THE TIER real crystals, handcrafted beaded, glitz, and more!. At this store anything is customizable !!!!!!!

Now let me talk to you about the service. When you go in, you feel like you are Beyoncé. They schedule an undivided time with you! You get VIP service! The owner and staff are worked with were Matilda and Tanya .
Let me first start by saying Tanya was amazing. She is fashion-forward. She knows how to style you. She was energetic and so respectful !!! I almost cried when she was talking to me about options in dresses. She was able to find the BEST DRESS FOR ME. Tanya also customized it for me. Felt so majestic in my dress. Even my mother, who is very hard to please was so happy. My maid of honor even vowed to get her dresses here at this store. The service we serviced we received coupled with the talent and skill, is un-comparable. When you come here itâs the VIP treatment to in the door.
Matilda is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. She is kind and intelligent! She is the backbone of the entire store and wedding game.
Honestly, woman to woman, if you want luxury, classy, and majestic look! Please come here. They can make simple to OVER THE TOP CELEBRITY DRESSES. During my appt. I was never rushed! Never pressured, never given attitudes like you would in other places like Kleinfield that just want a sale so you can get out. NYC GLAMOUR TREATS you with the utmost respect!!! They care about your love story and your wedding day. Coming with a picky mom (like me?) or a grandma/aunt? NO PROBLEM. NYC GLAMOUR COUTURE knows how to tend to your all needs! They will help you find the best dress.
This review is worth all the details, and more. I am so happy I found this place. I canât wait to come back in December to make my second dress. I am also planning a trip for my bridal party to come to get their dresses.
The last piece of advice, if you're on the fence, or your questioning whether this place is worth the visit or if itâs as it says it is... I am here to tell you this place is better than your dreams !!!!! Places like Kleinfield ... are cool but are SOOOOOOOOOOO OVERRATED!

long story: I bought a dress from there two days before my engagement. It was my second option and the ladies knew that. I needed it to get tailored but I explained to them I wasnât sure if I can get it tailored on time. The ladies knew that I was skeptical to purchase it because of this. One of the ladies said you know what this one time, we will let you return it if you could not get it tailored.
When my mom went to return the dress the next day because I could not get it tailored they would refuse to take it back. She denied ever saying that I can return it, but I know 100% she said that to me.
It was an expensive dress, and I would have never purchased it if the lady did not tell me I could return it the next day if I was not able to get it tailored.

First off thatâs such an unprofessional response.
You need to stop making it seem like I purchased the dress and then changed my mind and tried to force a return on you. That is not what happened.
I came into your store when I already had a dress as an option. The woman helping me were lovely sweet girls and they helped me find a dress that I thought was beautiful however it needed to be tailored. They saw how skeptical I was about purchasing it because I only had two days until my engagement and that meant I had to rush getting it tailored. I was going to leave the store without purchasing the dress because I figured I could not get it tailored that quick. Thatâs when that one lady told me you know what this one time for you if you could not get it tailored on time we will return it for you.
So please stop acting like I am making the story up. With your rude comments about me thinking itâs a supermarket and this is a family business and you guys work hard I donât care I work hard for my money to just like everyone else in this world does so please save the pity party.
Nobody forced me to buy the dress I never said that so donât put words in my mouth. however I was lied to about the fact that I could make a return this one time. If she never said that to me I would not have bought a 700 or $800 dress last minute.
I came on here not to bash your business but to warn others to not believe a word you guys say unless itâs written and signed on paper.
If you had a audio recording thatâs funny you never mentioned a thing to me when I called you guys about it. If you want I would love to come in person and we can go through that audio and so we can resolve this issue and I would be more than happy to take down my review if it was never said. However I know what I heard and she said that to me so I know you will not be open to that. So for anyone who sees this review if itâs still up here just know that they lie to their customer.

I got married in 2020 and ordered my bridesmaid dresses from this establishment. All dresses came on time and were lovely. That being said I came back to purchase a gown since I was the Maid of Honor for my sisters wedding. I ordered the dress in March of 2022 for a wear date of August 1st 2022. I left a deposit and paid the dress in full by April. In July of 2022 I reached out via text to inquire about a delivery date. I received no response. I reached out again the second week of July and whoever I spoke to said someone would call me back. I never received a call. I called the third time and was told that my dress has not been made because they have been unable to reach the designer. I was absolutely distraught and communicated to the sales rep that this was unacceptable. She reasoned with me and apologized and said she could perhaps accommodate me if I came into store and ordered another dress. I came in looking for a very specific color and could not find a suitable replacement that would deliver in time. I asked to speak with a manager and this conversation only made it worse. The manager I spoke with had the most dismissive attitude and basically likened the situation as a problem with the dress designer. She NEVER apologized and took accountability for the fact that NO ONE called to update me about the dress.
I canât understand how I ordered a dress in March and from March to July I got NO update. If someone had told me the dress did not exist I could have easily ordered another gown. It was so stressful for me to deal with, and the attitude of whomever I spoke with did not help at all. I was the maid of honor in my sisters wedding with no dress less than a month before the wedding. I found a dress to wear somewhere else but I really canât help but be extremely disappointed.
Advice to the store manager I spoke with : if you value your customers you should acknowledge when you have made a mistake...
