I had always heard of orange theory, but never gave it much thought. That was, until one opened so close to my house that I walk to it! I started orange theory in January. While I’ve always been someone who worked out and was in shape, I never found a place that felt worth staying a member at. I tried it all: generic gyms, smaller private gyms, kickboxing, etc but nothing ever stuck. I’d end up trying to just workout at home.
Once I started orange theory, I knew I’d fall in love with it! Every class is different; there’s never a boring workout and at the end of each class, I feel eager for the next one! One of my favorite things anbout OTF are the monthly challenges and signature / benchmark workouts. To me, orange theory gives me a reason to want to work out and love it while I’m doing it because I get to see myself reach new goals with every class that I attend! I’m almost at my 100th class and I couldn’t be happier that I finally decided to give OTF a try! Oh, and the coaches at orange theory on Hylan are great! Encouraging everyone to reach their potential, and then strive for more. Each coach helps make us members feel comfortable working out at all our own levels but in a togetherness that is so comforting. Read moreOkay so first off I love love love Orangetheory I was so nervous when I first signed up. It’s very affordable they have each plan that works with the amount of days you want to go for. THE STAFF IS AMAZING very sweet and so nice they also check in on you through text and call. Matt, Megan, and Julie are so nice they always help me with whatever days I need or if I can’t make it to reschedule. I was never motivated to go to the gym. When I went to other gyms it was expensive and I wasn’t really losing weight or gaining anything and for a personal trainer la fitness wanted me to pay 1,000 dollars. At Orangetheory they have a trainer who guides you on the floor, tread, and rower and also have other classes where if you only want to do the tread you can only do the tread. However I like the flexibility of doing each section within the hour. They play great music as well as the are and bathrooms are very clean . I just got into going to the gym consistently I’ve been here for about three months and have been taking Kerry’s class she’s very sweet and she really pushes you in the gym and motivated me to be a better version of myself and whenever I ask for help she never shames me and always makes sure I’m doing the workout right. Read moreI have had nothing but great experiences at this location. I joined the first week they opened and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. I’ve always wanted to join an orange theory but their locations were never convenient until they opened this one. It’s been a little over a year since I’ve joined and truthfully, I have never been so consistent with a workout routine. I aim to go 4 times per week and what really helps me stick with it is their cancellation policy. There is no canceling last minute just because you don’t feel like going and I love that (obviously they make exceptions, but for the most part, just get your ass to the gym. Stop being lazy and you won’t have to pay for it literally, mentally, and physically lol). Overall, I look and feel stronger, I’m running longer/faster distances, and lifting heavier than I ever have. My couches are the absolute best and not only inspire me, but they push me to my limits and make each class fun and enjoyable. I adore Jenna, Ashley, and Cody whose classes I mainly attend although everyone is great! The front desk team are also wonderful, personable, and know everyone on a first name basis.
