Pieces of the Ocean — Local services in New York

My wife and I (ReefKatz)are from Philadelphia and we drove up to the shop to see what it was like. Everyone working was super helpful and very inviting. I saw an interview with Kenny and Keith (reef bum) and was intrigued and that’s what brought me to the site where I saw the auction. I made a few small purchases and decided to pick up in store so that I can see the facility in person. I must say it was VERY impressive. The care that the team showed when dealing with us as well as the tanks and it’s livestock was inspiring and we have continued to shop with POTO. We tried ordering and the experience was equally impressive. The time and care that goes into the packaging was phenomenal. I want to once again thank you for what you do and thank you for being a great business to the community. I can’t sing your praises enough. I’m sure people tell POTO all the time how great they are but I wanted to make sure that I spent the time to say it myself and let others know.

Update- corals purchased are still doing great and thriving. They have been the most stable and consistent growing in my tank. I purchase from a lot of places an POTO seem to always exceed my expectations. I even love using their site to buy corals called Reefnbid. Great deals and values. This review is long over due, but I just wanted to say how wonderful William and Jessica were customer service wise. First I had won a decent amount of corals in reefbid. Then that weekend we got hit with a huge storm it upstate Ny lost power for the whole weekend. Well I lost most of my tank. I emailed and called they not only canceled my order no questions asked, but took it a step forward and said they would send me a care package next time i ordered. Well flash forward 1.5 months I do a small order, and William came through for me. It was extremely nice of him and really stood out to me that this is what this hobby is about, helping your fellow reefer. Going the extra mile. So when I can afford to do more orders with them I’m with them for life. Amazing corals, and amazing customer care! That you again poto and William!!! This is my final post on this, I do not wish to resolve anything nor do I intend to ever purchase or bid on anything. Please feel free to inbox me if you wish to discuss further as I have already received several messages with folks experiencing similar situations on auctions they won. Auctions end every Friday night, rules state you have 24 hours to pay for your win(s) and if not paid for within 24 hours the auctions go up on his second chance tabs where they are available for purchase at the "winning bid".

Every Sunday at least 20 or more unpaid auctions are available for purchase. How is it that every week there is ~ a 50% non-pay rate? This is one unlucky guy, so many of his auctions go unpaid for every week.
