!!!! Attention !!!! Please do not waste your money and time at this school !!!! You can get a grant through work force 1 to pay for your classes CNA and Medical Assistant.
The Director Art and his Daughter has been taking peopleâs hard earn money since 1992. The Instructor was an older lady named Marie that use to sleep while giving instructions, a lot of the time she kept telling us she isnât sure of certain procedures and that we needed to refer to our textbook for help. She also wasnât teaching us from the same textbook edition.
It was clear the instructor wasnât practicing Nursing in present time. The clinical we did at Sliver lake Nursing home , Horrible!!!!! We were not treated as students but treated as the âHelpâ. Had to beg for our lunch break, had us cleaning and lifting patients all while not being certified or covered under any insurance from the facility. Adm. at the school didnât care about our well being.
Extremely disappointed with our school because Art the director told me to â Suck it upâ for the week we spent at the school. Oh did I mention the $1800 you pay for Tuition doesnât cover the cost of the Exam or uniform. To much inconsistency with what our instructor taught us, then what was expected on the state exam. Nothing our instructor taught us was on our exam. We had to teach ourselves using Cna4you on YouTube.
The classroom was dusty and moldy, they had old outdated equipment. Donât waste your time coming to...
Read moreI am a recent MA graduate of New Millennium and I can not say enough good things about them!! From the very beginning I knew I was in the right place to get a jump start in my career as a medical assistant when Art the director showed how passionate he was and informing me of all the things they do in the program and for success. They went above and beyond COVID regulations in making sure the safety and health of the students was their number 1 priority. The teacher Kelly was absolutely phenomenal. She is beyond experienced, extremely knowledgeable in the field and makes the class a pleasure to attend every day. As I prepare to take the national exam, I feel very prepared as Kelly instilled all that we needed to succeed on the exam. Michelle is extremely active in finding the perfect externship to place each student. I was very fortunate to be hired through my externship as well as getting a full time job shortly after in a rehab facility. As someone who almost settled for another program elsewhere that would not have given me half of what I have, I HIGHLY recommend looking into New...
Read moreI'm happy I chose to come here, I definitely learned a lot in class, which prepared me for my externship. The New Millennium Training center emphasized that the students learned how to do everything manually, while I was at my externship I was consistently told to check patients vitals manually because the machines were not always accurate. Other externs that I met from other schools did not know how to check blood pressure manually and I had the honor to teach them. The teacher at the school made the class enjoyable and had a lot of knowledge. In class not only did we learn from our textbook but we were provided with a lot of study materials to further understand each topic. If you like to learn hands on, I would definitely recommend this school to anyone. I had a great experience with the staff and students and if you are looking for a school to complete your medical assistant program, this would be a...
