I wish I could give 0 stars. I hate to leave bad reviews but I hope with this review the owner or manager of this place can start making some changes. I came in with some friends and my baby. We sat down and ordered our appetizers , and as I was trying to tell her what I was going to get my son to eat she walked away and I had to call her back. Our food came and she just dropped off the food and walked away didn’t even ask if we wanted to order our entrees. Whatever I didn’t make a big deal , we ate our appetizers drank all of our drinks and still the waitress was not back not once to check on us , we all got really annoyed because we were actually very hungry and were looking forward to get our actual dinner there was 3 people working and nobody was able to come back to get our order taken, we tried to catch her attention but still nothing. I have full server experience and I know sometimes things can get hectic but just a quick how are you guys doing can go a long way. Once she finally arrived at our table we decided to just leave because the service here was just not it. I strongly suggest the manager or owner of this place to get his team in check or else they will definitely lose all...
Read moreI heard a tremendous amount of hype from friends and decided to try it for my wifes birthday, when I got there the space seemed ok .the staff didn’t seem genuinely interested in my dining experience .the female waitress was snarky .i always try out the tortas de Milanesa ,it has been my experience that if the tortas are good then the food tends to also be good ,the tortas tasted bland and burnt my wife ate the fried fish and it was overtly cooked and the side of rice was watered down and bland ,my son fared better as he ordered the cheeseburger (lol in a Mexican restaurant),for the $70 dollar check we left this place with a immense sense of hunger.to the point That i had to go across the street to Georgie’s diner to get some flavor in my stomach ,jalapeños to me seemed over rated and over priced although it was clean I won’t be coming back ,if you can’t cook a torta de milanesa you dont have any business making food ,I eat all around and i am a Mexican immigrant myself and I know Mexican food,go to the diner across if you can ,this ended being a bad decision and now I have to make it up to my wife for this bad...
Read moreJust by fluke, we found this place walking 5 Avenue yesterday in Brooklyn.
I have to say, what a stroll along 5 Avenue it was.
From the various clothing stores and walk up restaurants to the locals on the sidewalk selling various homemade goodies to eat.
And then out of nowhere, we found this sit down resturant right on 5 Avenue.
It was around 6:30pm and maybe 6-7 tables had customers. Then by 7:30pm this place was jammed packed.
The food, the service - all of it was over the top.
A work colleague and myself shared a dish, there was enough for 4 people (seriously).
Everything was delicious.
Great job all, personally I came from Vancouver, BC Canada.
And have to say, that was hands down the best Mexican Dish I had ever, ever...
