One star because they're rude and make me feel uncomfortable. That's all. I'm just annoyed that when I go in I'm followed and watched. And my most recent encounter I felt like I was on an episode of what would you do. I was in there for a whileee too. Mainly because they were making me feel paranoid. I wanted to just leave but I was determined to find these Jean's that I fell in love with. I took pictures of the Jean's and the name so I can go to another 'pretty girl' and buy them. But like I said I've been in the store for a while just trying to act as normal as possible because they literally wasnt even trying to hide the fact the were watching me. It was embarrassing. So I decided to buy only one pair of Jean's. As i was going to buy I couldn't find my money i set aside specifically to spend for the day. So I started to look around on the ground for it. I gave up paid for it. No a word was said to me I gave my money and began to leave. I then asked one of the two females that's been staring at me and asking me if I need help and telling me they dont have big sizes in the Jean's section of she had seen me drop money. And she just said "no" and turned her back. No eye contact nothing. ... Like what in the actual f*ck. Smh I lost 120 today 130 if you count the Jean's that I bought.
I dont want to say it was a a me being black thing, a me looking young thing, or a me looking fat thing (I was looking for a M) but that was definitely appalling. I've worked retail for 4 years, worked security for 3, and am now working HR and a well known department store. This behavior... I cant even put into words. And I know I look young (even though I'm pushing 30) and theres a school not too far. But your job isn't to make them feel like criminals by blatantly staring, whispering, standing, "cleaning" next to someone. It was just distasteful.
Any typos I apologize I'm just walking and upset by my experience with them just now. I still cant wrap my head around what just happened.
But about the store, not the workers. If you like rainbows youd like this place. Cheap is always nice, quality ranges from decent to poor. Some items are over priced for their quality but that's your decision to make. There is no place to try on clothes. And there are no returns. They have exchanges there but sometimes its honestly not worth it if you dont shop...
Read moreI saw a dress through the window that I really liked and I went inside of the store to go pick one up. The price tag said $19.99 on the dress. I guess I picked up a dress in my size that didn’t have the price tag on it and I took it up to the counter without realizing it. The girl asked me how much does she see on the dress and I told her it was 19.99. she held up the dress to her African manager in the back to find out from him what the price was because I guess she never believed me and he told her that it was $25 so me and the man started arguing back-and-forth because the dress was $19.99. So I went back to the dress rack to get two random dresses that had the price tag on it and I brought it back to the two of them at the counter and shoved it in their face to show them that it clearly said 19.99. That was my first and last time ever stepping foot back into that store. And I highly advise anyone to stay...
Read moreThe manager on this day btwn 145-2pm was very rude and have not made my experience a pleasant one. There was a shirt on a rack for 2.99 and she said it cost more than what it was listed for and as I placed my money on the register before I had even finish talking to her about the price she took it up and put it in the register didn't give me back my change or anything refusing to return my money back to me I had even call the police to come because I didn't wanna ship there anymore and I wanted her to return my money to me. I can only imagine what she does on a daily baises to any and everyone if this is what yall call management I will say everyone should shop...
