Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Horrible, they quickly charge higher prices than listed. I ordered the classic chicken sandwich for $3.99 and a large soda for $2.99 = $6.98 is $7 and the tax for New York City is about 9% =0.63¢ so should have been $7.63¢ I got charged $8.69¢ and I said to the guy why am I being charged an extra $1.07¢ and his answer was oh the soda cost this price 3.99 on the computer. He refused to refund it. I ask for full refund instead of returning it to my credit card gives me a cash refund then instead of letting me buy just the sandwich ignores me waiting for the next customer and of course I didn't get off the line I waited until he sold me Original Classic chicken sandwich from the original price and then asked for a receipt. He said no paper in the machine, amazing so there's no record of anything. This is done on purpose, counting on people walking out, over paying and they were to come back and say they were overcharged the first thing they're going to say is do you have the receipt and of course they don't. I don't normally write reviews, but I don't know where to go from here. A few days ago I spent about $50 on food that I ordered directly from their site. Upon doordash delivery with my food, I food 2 roaches on my delivery. I immediately called the driver and told him that the food had 2 roaches on it, and he told me to call doordash. I called doordash and explained my situation, and they were ready and willing to give me a refund. Due to me ordering directly from Popeyes, doordash said they were unable to override Popeyes and I would have to go through them. I’m leaving a review as a warning to anyone eating here. I have no idea if I got a bad batch of chicken, but I got the 3 pc. It tasted great, I had no issue initially. But I’m starting to think the food was maybe undercooked because around 7 hours later I vomitted a lot and ended up having the worst 24 hours of my life. I’m talking diarrhea, vomiting, fever, nausea, headache and I felt like I was going to pass out at any time. I ended up having to go to the ER for what I assume was food poisoning but I’m not sure (the hospital said it was gastroenteritis, do with that what you will).
