This doctor was ok for a few things like a flu shot or antibiotics needed to kick bronchitis. But if you need any kind of longterm care or monthly prescriptions--especially for a child/ teen-- do yourself a favor and find someone else. We live in the same building so it seemed very convenient and I overlooked several red flags like the 90+ minute wait times or the ordering of expensive allergy tests on the first visit for no reason. We would often wait over an hour past our scheduled appt time, so they would tell me to go to my apt and call me when the lobby cleared out and we could walk back down. (Admittedly, this call was nice on days we needed to do a walkin for help when sick). They'll schedule for a 10am appt. when the Dr. doesn't even show up until 11am daily. Then he makes his sweet, overworked office staff go out and PARK HIS CAR so he can get to the now overflowing lobby of patients still waiting. They also only accept cash or the Dr's suspicious Zelle account with no ability to accept medical HSA cards, credit cards, or bank cards. Their entire system of business is outdated. After complaining about how many times we had to beg for our refills on my daughter's ADHD medications by calling, leaving voice messages, and also talking to someone on the phone multiple times every month for about 5-10 days before finally having to just walk in and talk to the receptionist for a refill request (every month it was a fight like this to get my daughter's meds. He fired us as patients saying I would have this issue all over NYC. I'm happy to report a month later that that is NOT the case and we now have a wonderful, very responsive PCP with updated billing and effective refill request systems just up the street. His office has tried to charge us $200 every month for prescription refills for my teen's ADHD meds and coded it as a telehealth office visit (3 appointments of which my daughter wasn't even in the state!) when we never saw anyone past the receptionist's desk. In addition to these charges (which I've filed a formal complaint about with my insurance company who agree he can't legally charge for prescription refills and code them as telehealth appts). Cigna has launched an investigation on the matter. This is one of the most unethical practices I have ever experienced living in 4 states nationwide. Save your time and money. Edit to reply to their reply-it's not racist, for not wanting to pay $200 for refill requests. It is a HIPPA/PIH violation to discuss a patient's medical bills, even though those $200 "co-pays" are FRAUD as mentioned above. We both know I spent a week+ each time calling trying to get before we ran out before getting irritated/worried we were running out. I paid all fees during visits. The only times I came in after hours were when invited because they couldn't meet my appointment time and said they'd call me when the lobby cleared out. I'M the one who told them he should be seeing my daughter every 3 months on this medication. No attempt was made to reach out to communicate that multiple messages were received or being worked on or that an appt was needed. 8 months after the start of medication gets brought up after the 8th month of fighting for timely refills. Re: the out of state refill while my daughter was on vacation, that didn't go thru because we discovered it's illegal to send a controlled ADHD substance to an out-of-state pharmacy. Something a medical doctor/office should have knowledge of, but I was able to work that out on my own. Folks reading these reviews, read down on every negative review and they respond with nothing but excuses. Several that sound ridiculous /made up. Refusing to take accountability to do better while making up lies to hide reality. Lying and blaming your patients for the ways your office is unable to care for them is next level. Terrible and unethical practice. Looks like they decided to delete all of their negative responses to their patients issues. Certainly for the better.

I am writing this review to wholeheartedly state that Dr. R. Sulaiman is an outstanding physician. Over the course of 7 years, I have had the privilege of being under Dr. Sulaiman’s care, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first visit, Dr. Sulaiman demonstrated unwavering commitment to my health and well-being. Not only is he highly knowledgeable, thorough, but he also listens attentively and takes the time to explain medical conditions and treatment options in a way that is both clear and understandable. This combination of expertise and compassionate care has had a profound positive impact on my overall health. Dr. Sulaiman is also a great communicator, creating an environment where I always feel comfortable asking questions and voicing any concerns. He approaches every appointment with professionalism, patience, and a genuine interest in helping me achieve the best possible outcomes. Beyond medical expertise, Dr. Sulaiman consistently demonstrates a sense of integrity, kindness and empathy that is rare in the medical profession. I truly feel that he has always had my best interests in mind, and I trust him implicitly. I am extremely grateful for the care I have received from Dr. Sulaiman, and I am confident that anyone who seeks his expertise will benefit greatly from his dedication, skill and compassionate approach to healthcare. Additionally, I could not help but notice a very doubtful and mean-spirited review that someone wrote. I apologize in advance to Dr. Sulaiman for expressing my opinion about this review, but I could not help notice the many untruthful statements that were written. I have to say that this has not been my experience with Dr. Sulaiman or any of his staff. The office is always clean and the secretaries are very welcoming. I consider myself objective and a person with common sense. When a patient posts personal attacks about their physician, and even about how he parks his own car and other nonsense, it warrants an invalidation of their entire review, as they lose total credibility. If patients expect doctors to do everything and anything as fast as they want them to, then I suggest they go to a fast-food restaurant where their “demands” can be expedited in minutes. I feel confident that anyone who knows Dr. Sulaiman’s professionalism, will not entertain the very vindictive and untruthful accusations made in some reviews. This is my...

Dr. Sulaiman is literally the best doctor I have ever been too! My old primary care doctor just blamed all my issues on weight without looking into any of my health complaints. Dr. S took his time during my first visit, and let me explain how I felt from head to toe without feeling like I was being rushed. He ordered all exams I wanted to be done and printed all referrals in the exam room that I needed. He printed a list of all my meds and health issues for me to keep for my records. He had a blood work done for me, which which they do in the office and went over every single result and even wrote notes next to each one for me. He has also helped me with my panic anxiety disorder without putting me on a narcotic med that I didn't want to take from my psychiatrist. It’s rare to find a doctor that actually cares for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. He is very smart, kind, and a great listener. He is so organized and even has a young man named Abdulla who works along side with him, that takes all the notes down while you are talking to the doctor, so he can give you his undivided full attention. Abdulla is a great person as well, and he is very attentive. His organizational skills are out of this world, and he also cares to make sure the patients are comfortable. There are three other people who work in the office as well. These three women are exceptional at what they do. They are so helpful, and really are a joy to see and talk to when in the office. They always answer the phone and attend to whatever needs you may have over the phone and as well as in person. Everyone in this office is just completely amazing. Everyone always just has a big smile on their face and makes you feel so welcomed. Dr. Sulaiman and his staff just actually do their jobs unlike a lot of other places. They deserve an award! And I am so lucky to have found Dr....
