Random Accessories — Local services in New York

It is a small store but don't let that deter you from entering. The selection of random gifts is just mesmerizing. The whole store is fully packed, definitely is going to take at least half an hour to truly browse all the items. So many funny and cute gifts here! I usually shop here when I want to send care packages overseas. The recipients always loved the selections I sent them from here! (So do I). There is a tiny sale section at the back corner so don't miss that area as well. They cover almost all genre of gifts ranging from jewelry, books, calendars, cards, mugs.. ah, I can go on and on about this. I don't want to ruin the surprise too much for you guys..believe me, they will at least make you chuckle, haha. The staff is always friendly and helpful..makes you feel really welcomed to browse and shop. The store really lived up to its name, RANDOM accessories! Small bussiness owners are greatly under appreciated in my opinion because when I think about the things that I love purchasing most and that bring most happiness in my life - they come from small businesses! That individual, creative, personal quality unmatched by large corporations is the soul of New York's and the world's economy in my opinion. I realized this when my son and I recently walked into Random Accessoriesny in New York's East Village. And - WOW. This store has the most creative random things that no one really knows that they want until they see them. How creative, how uniquely human! I have to give Lynn, the owner of Random and her staff another big shout out for helping me retain the title given to me by my staff and clients, ‘the best gift giver’. She is a blast to work with in person and always very helpful when I call or order things online…there’s nothing like working with a business owner who takes the time to give personalized care. Her selection of silver jewelry is great…I have a wrist ladened with bracelets to prove it and the care packages with JELLYCATS that you’ve mailed to my kids are always a hit.
