If I could give Royal Caribbean no stars, I would. They are turning my Birthday cruise celebration into a headache. They sent me an email offering me a birthday perk however, they were only willing to give it to me if I booked a new reservation. As a good planner, I was already booked for my birthday cruise under one of their qualifying sailings, so I called their customer service to just ask them to apply the same birthday perks they were offering but that there was no need to book an entire other room since I already had a room. They refused to honor the birthday perks that they were offering me, which completely left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to RCCL and their planning. The offer only applies for an October sailing and I’m literally already booked for RC in the middle of October, why would I have to be forced to cruise back to back in order to be recognized for my birthday. THEN on top of that, they moved my casita rental day without my permission, so I had to cancel that too as it clashed with another reservation I already had. You’re going to CANADA! If you have kids you can see how this would be an issue. If you packed bathing suits maybe pack just as many sweatpants and jackets! They only offered a small onboard credit for the COMPLETE change in itinerary. Now the kids can look at the slides and splash pads but it’s going to be too cold to play in them. Very disappointed, will NEVER cruise with royal carribean again what a waste of money! Also if you think you’re getting a good deal try doubling that price with all the things you’re going to want to add on to have a good time …..specially in Canada…
Don’t even bother with the insurance they offer through ALLIANZ or whatever it’s called this will be a different review.

The energy was amazing, from all the talented musicians and bartenders to the activity crew and even the ice cream team — everyone went out of their way to make sure I was happy. A special shoutout to Sahil, Joel, and Suni in the main dining room, they were incredible! They remembered our names and how we liked our meals, and made every dinner feel special.
