Walked in for a hair appointment walked out not 10 minutes after. There was a bunch of people spewing Pro Trump propaganda and trashing AOC. Made the environment super uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Thought it was just the customers at first until a male and female stylist started participating. Needless to say don't support this business.

Edit: After owners response. I don't expect everyone to have the same views as me thats a fools errand. I do however expect a level of class and responsibility to all clientele. To say you accept everyone and than blatantly stand with hate is laughable. Your community deserves to know where they spend their money and who that money goes to. If you don't want to be a business that creates a warm and welcoming environment that's fine. However, I know there are people who want to support businesses that actually stand with their morals. So my post is simply to inform your community what your business stands for and let them know not to support it since you don't align yourself with certain morals. Hope...

Hands down best haircut of my life. I am not precious about my hair, have never had a bad haircut I didn't just shrug off like "Ah it'll grow out" -- until about two weeks ago when another stylist in NYC went berserker on my head. It looked like I had an actual on-purpose 80s-style mullet. I was too self-conscious to even look at myself in the mirror! After reading a lot of great reviews about Joe, I called and explained my situation and he squeezed me in on the same day. He was so compassionate about how wrecked my hair was, and made me laugh when I felt like crying. The care he took of me was above and beyond, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and encouraging me all the way through the cut and style. When he was finished I blurted out "Oh my god you're a wizard!" Because not only did he fix my terrible haircut, he made it into the best-looking style I've ever had. 10/10. I would recommend him to anyone and he's the only stylist I'll be visiting...

If you want a simple haircut or root touch up, sure. But if you need color correction or if you have a more complex job, this is not the salon for you. They over promise and under deliver. I went in for a color correction and full set of highlights. The results were appalling. The stylists have no clue what they’re doing. This is a photo of the highlights done aka zebra stripes. The solution to this? The stylist, Elizabeth just added dye to cover up the highlights. The end result? Darker hair than I had previously. I could have easily bought a box of hair color and dyed my hair if I wanted this. Went to the owner to find some resolution, he was rude, arrogant and dismissive.
